From the time I was a kid watching Sylvester Stallone tear up the big screen in Rocky and Rambo. I knew I wanted to build a muscular physique and do a one arm pushup. I just didn't know how I was going to get there. Through all the tips and tricks for building muscle that I learned from working with top professional athletes, I finally learned how to quickly and easily accomplish this. The one arm pushup is one of the greatest feats of strength, and also one of the greatest exercises for building overall upper body strength. You can build massive arms, chest, and shoulders by doing this incredible exercise. Let me show you in this video the easiest way you can start doing this exercise today, so that you can finally build up to being able to do this with your own bodyweight. When you're done watching this, head over to to get your complete system today for building what I like to call the ATHLEAN physique. Get ripped, build athletic muscle, and get the kind of body you see on the cover of the magazines and on the television every day

other approach is to start doing oapus on your knees just like weak guys and females does with regular pushups to get some weight off then do the oapu with out any assistance this helps to hit the lats and core harder that is a big part of why you cant perform them, because you need tons of strength there to stabilize and prevent core rotation and end up with your face on the ground lol, then you can start building up by grabbing a small weight close to your chest with the free hand and build little by little: P

-Lights0ut1109 Make videos showing us that you can do all of that. No one's going to believe something like what you said without any visual proof. I could say that I can do 7 one-finger push ups, bench press 428 lbs, and leg press 715 lbs. It doesn't mean I can do all of that by just saying it. When you say you can do something as big as what you're saying, you're not going to be believed without providing proof. If you can and you're not going to prove it, it's better to not say anything.

I'm 5'9, can do 30-40 pushups, and 10-12 pullups with good form (on a good day. With legs spread as wide as possible I can only do 3-4 one arm pushups with good form (not those jerk-ups like so many do that go nowhere near the floor. Hey I believe you when you say that doing 12 one arm pushups with a wide leg position is easy as piss for you. OTOH, most people who attempt a one arm pushup for the first time use a wide leg position by default. They don't very easily do 12 if they even do two.

well as you're so aggressive that must mean you're right. as i said to guy who replied to me why would 1 arm push up have wide legs when a normal push up doesn't? thats pretty simple to grasp. this is an easier wide legged variation of 1 arm push up. a military push up is a totally different exercise (i recommend using google) so before making a dick of yourself by showing youre lack of knowledge and internet tough guy aggression you may want to engage your search engine and brain.

OK. So imagine you are doing a push up, you dont have wide legs with a push up do you so why would you with a 1 arm push up. the one arm push up is an extension of that technique, you still have your legs close together. thats why it's called a 1 arm push up, and it's harder to perform as it means your core and triceps both work harder. this technique cab be used as a progression up to a 1 arm push up but this technique is not a correct 1 arm push up,

Having the capability of doing more reps of the classic, diamond, and wide push ups continuously would lead to muscle endurance. Would performing more difficult push up variations with less reps; however, are to failure benefit me more gains? Which one is better. Classic push up variations with high reps to failure or more difficult low reps variation to failure? I can do a lot of reps with my pull ups and push ups but I'm still skinny.

-Lights0ut1109 I understand now. Maybe you really can do all that and just wanted to say it. It's not like you said anything negative. I was just looking at it the way a skeptic would. The way I commented is not how I usually do, so please excuse my post. I should have said what I said in a more positive manner.

I don't care how much you benched. If you could do 12 correct one arm pushups, feet together or a part, then you were pretty strong lifting your body weight. I agree that it is very difficult with the legs together. But dude, the average guy cannot do 12 one are push ups with good form regardless of leg position.

Hey Jeff,
Really excited for tomorrow!
anyways, i was wondering what brand is your jumpstretch band and how wide is it and where did you get it?
There are some exercises ive seen in ur athleanx program and ive been using a resistance band, which is not working out so good.
Thanks
