Bigger Biceps are on top of nearly every guy's wish list (second only to solid six pack abs) and finding guys banging away at set after set of biceps curls or doing biceps workouts every day in pursuit of these muscles is not uncommon. But is it effective? Not by a long shot. In order to develop serious biceps you have to train them intensely and keep the workout volume low. The biceps are a small muscle group that respond to intense training. Doing biceps workouts more than once or twice a week will NOT help you to build them up faster but will actually work to reduce the size gains that you can see. That said, in this biceps workout (our Beach Ready Biceps for Summer Workout) you will see how with just 4 biceps exercises you can work your arms from every angle and apply real muscle building science in the process to produce noticeably larger arms. Here's a rundown of the Biceps Workout in this video: ======================================= 21 Curls - Hit the midrange, stretch, and contracted position of the biceps with this scorcher. Scales of Justice Curls - Use uneven weights to force you to execute the critical time under tension principle to build bigger biceps faster No Money Chin Ups - See how a slight tweak to a common back exercise can build your biceps to all new dimensions Tubing Burnout Curls - Biceps have never burned this much ============================================ So give that a try and when you're ready to see how ATHLEAN-X training can create a complete body then head to and grab the complete 90 day training system. Learn how to train like an athlete (and build more than just biceps) with the system created by celebrity trainer Jeff Cavaliere. For other workouts on youtube head to

-REALMADRIDBOYZ No more than twice a week man. The biceps grow by working them hard then giving them time to recover and they need A LOT of time to recover. Give them at least 3 days to recover before you train them again. Guys want bigger biceps so much and they train them every day. Please please please dont do that. I promise you they wont grow if you do that. Train them hard for about 30 minutes once every 3 days and I promise you will see more growth and definition.

Ok. if I understand this routine correctly. you do 3 sets of each excercise with the exception of the burn out at the end? This routine is certainly not for the beginner I'd assume. The Bicep is such a small muscle that this routine would certainy lead to over training it. unless this routine is to be done once, maybe twice a week max? Especially since most guys work at least another body part with the bicep. Just looking for clarity.

Everyone has to resort to insults when someone disagrees with them. Is that how you are in person? Or just online? Anyway, this workout consists of how many sets? If it's only a -segment- of a much larger workout, that workout will take a pretty good chunk of time. Isolating triceps in one exercise and biceps in the next doesn't really change the fact that it's very inefficient. Isolation is not really an -athletic- way to train.

Would a 1. 5 rep have any merit when doing your biceps? I've seen some do them and wasn't entirely convinced how that worked (that part I could google, but why if it's not healthy. One more for ya JD and I am sure it's been asked repeatedly, but when getting the 90 Athlean X program, do we have to follow it step by step if we are wanting to target certain areas only?

Hey Jeff, if u please can answer me on this that would be greatly appreciated. I have internally rotated shoulders but after AX1 they improved but still uncomfortable with them. So can u please show how to fix this problem by putting some exercises for this purpose. My upper back muscles and my neck are always in pain because of my wrong shoulder's form.

Jeff,
I have a question about a supplement. I have found a lot of contrary evidence and opinion on Nitric Oxide and I was wondering what your thoughts are on it? Good, bad? Is it just good for overall health but not really so much for muscle growth and fitness? Let me know what you think please!
Thanks,
JJ

Been asking that myself. I did curls 2 days ago, did them again today then watch this and think, oh crap, did I just go backwards? BUT, I will be trying this method to see just how much I hurt after doing it. If you hurt more than usual, then I'll understand why we shouldn't do it every other day.
