Thanks! This video helped me fix my tendonitis and my carpal tunnel. I've had carpal tunnel on my right hand for over 10 years from using the mouse. Tendonitis was more recent on my left arm for over 2 month. I thought just resting it would help. It comes down to a basic principle which I learned in this video. Where it hurts is not the source of the issue. I started searching other areas of my body that was tender, and it turned out it was my back shoulder. When I massaged it, it hurt like hell but then I felt my elbow was actually better. I used a massage ball every day and I fixed my tendonitis in one week. My carpal tunnel look a little longer. Almost a month because it affected me longer. I'm now pain-free. It goes to show it's never too late.
Unfortunately, I've been preaching what I learned to all my friends, family, and strangers. No one listens. They told me they will rest it, they will keep massaging the area where it hurts, or they will see a massage therapist. A massage therapist will definitely help but you have to go every day and it costs money! So at the end, you're back to square one.
Long story short: you can fix it yourself by finding the source of the pain which is not where it hurts by massaging it every day.

Good video Jeff!
I had a long history with the tennis elbow.
Struggled with it for almost 2 years because it simply couldn-t heal up. This was due to a stress provided to it from my upper back.
A lot of people are having problems with that and I just wanted to state that you should be really cautious about who you trust with your recovery.
Most doctors will try to give you a syringe with cortison or want to operate to make money
One guy even told me that it-s chronic from now on and that I-m gonna struggle with it for the rest of my life.
Even the physiotherapist couldn-t help me.
In the end it got better when I started to train, basically on my posture, and meditate to get some relief in my upper back.
Tennis elbow can be very bad.
For me the pain started spreading to my triceps, forearms and even my fingers got numb at some point.
Couldn-t train for those 2 years of Pain.
Long story short, I just wanted to say, that you can fix this without any major medical intervention.
If a doctor tells you this, it-s most likely bs!

Disc golf and /or computer work has contributed to my tennis elbow starting a few days back after throwing mid range backhands leading to the lateral epicondyle becoming aggravated. Computer work or twisting off a jar lid seems to now bother it. Thanks for your video to appreciate the contributing factors of the joint proximal and distal/ do the distal elbow bands have a place in the short fix, creating a pseudo mm origin? So many people attest to this/ I realize the long term fix is correcting posture of the wrist and shoulder Thank you

I hurt my elbow while tennis serving a month ago. I have good technique but wonder if a 60+ year old should be serving over 100 miles per hour. The initial pain was at the bottom of my triceps. When I gripped something I felt the tennis elbow pain. After a few weeks the tennis elbow pain went away but I still have some pain with the area around my biceps tendon when I clench a fist but not the tendon. When I self massaged for tennis elbow I noticed some sore parts down my forearm extensors. Sucks getting old.

I have what they seem to call golfer-s elbow. It isn-t so much pain as it is a bother. My inner elbows feel weak but they don-t really hurt while I lift weights nor play golf, moreso afterwards. I went to a physical therapist and the treatment included dry needling in my bicep and tricep, suction cups in the same spots and electric shocks. This was just the first session but I-m not sure if the type of treatment is correct as it was somewhat painful. I appreciate the comments.

Better advice than my Doctor gave me laste week. I got my -Tennis Elbow- about 6 weeks ago sawing tree stumps off. I had to adopt an awkward position lying on the ground and over did it. Still got the awful pain 6 weeks later. Not when I pick something heavy up, more commonly when I grab something, do my zip up on my jacket. Any ideas what the problem is?

Hey Jeff! I like both videos you did on this topic. I believe mine developed from bowling. Probably a wrong move. Can you comment on that or maybe do a video describing how a bowling swing may be causing this so I can prevent it from happening again? Or, is it simply the kettlebell swings that will do it?

I have tennis elbow. But it is not really painful. I also noticed when I try to exercise it, there is much lack of mind muscle connection. I have alot of trouble getting my left arm to cooperate with my right arm during workouts. I hope maybe you can help me to figure out how to attack this issue.

He's right. To avoid tennis elbow when doing pull ups, you need to stop twisting your (i) wrist (ii) 3rd, 4th, and 5th fingers, and then (iii) make sure you engage your lats properly when pulling up. I just did it and my pain wasn't there anymore.
