Hi, Jeff! I'll be 68 yrs old in 2 months and am a survivor of 3 heart attacks. I've been doing cardio since Feb or March of this year at the hospital gym under supervision. A few weeks ago I started playing around with dumbbells and really love it!
I'm starting out with light weights and lots of reps (3 sets of 20, decreasing the weight with each set) and doing just a few exercises. I've been viewing your videos for instructions for best results and, I gotta tell ya, Jeff, I'm seeing results after just 2 weeks of modest training! I will follow this program starting tomorrow (Tuesday, my scheduled time. And again on Thursday!
So much more rewarding than just cardio - though I warm up on the treadmill, first!

Jeff Cavaliere provides videos that I find very informative and useful because he not only concentrates on building muscle but training in an athletic way that enhances form and function and athletic performance while also aiming to uncover and eliminate our week spots which can only improve our overall strength and fitness which I think is excellent

This is a great video, and I look forward to implementing these exercises!
My only suggestion for future videos would be to mic yourself better. Obviously, since you're not wearing a shirt, you can't use a lapel mic, but perhaps a boom mic would be helpful.
But great video! I look forward to seeing more!

This was my first serious workout routine. I remember going from not being able to do 10 pushups to doing 30 pushups without breaking a sweat. If your a beginner i recommend you do this workout add weight over time and if you stall and can't add any weight in a month move on to one of his more advanced programs.

Or carbs after workout
Or carbs before and after workout. .
As well as how many minutes or hours do u have Ur meal before your workout. .m and how big a meal. .on keto diet mm. m can just a banana be enough for pre work out meal or 2 or 3 bananas. .

I am 6'0 and about 215-220 lbs. I want to lose fat and appear -lean- rather than bulky, how many sets or reps should I do everyday to see progress? I am going to tie this to a calorie deficit. Do I also need to add cardio or will this be enough? Can someone please reply ASAP

I would love to see a video about the different terminology of the workouts. Like what-s the difference between a row and a press? Or what makes an exercise a curl? I would love to understand what the naming means to the uninitiated.
