First you have to understand that plateaus are normal. You will go weeks and sometimes months without results because you're body has plateaued. Maybe you already put on some muscle and your body is trying to adjust to it's new mass before it puts on anymore muscle. However, if you haven't seen results as far as muscle growth in a long time, you may want to try some of the tips in this video to help you break through that plateau. 1 How much are you eating. Your body doesn't necessarily want to put muscle on because it's an extra expense calorie wise. In order to put on more muscle you need to be consuming a lot of extra calories above what it takes to upkeep your body. A lot of people will build some muscle at a certain calorie range, and then when they plateau they continue trying to build muscle at that same calorie range. If 2, 000 calories per day is not building muscle, you may want to try 2250 calories per day. If that doesn't work in 4 weeks try 2500 calories per day. Just keep in mind that as you grow muscle and plateau your body will be using a lot more of calories that you consume to support that new muscle mass. So that means you need to add even more calories to build even more muscle. Also stop going crazy with supplements. Supplements at your local gnc or vitamin shoppe will not help you grow and build muscle as well as real food

People always think in terms of linear or in a straight line. mathematically they always think in terms of addition. the fact is the body doesn't work that way. The Body Works in a cycle. the same as your biorhythm. powerlifters were the first to cycle their training. bodybuilders need to cycle their training or forever stay in a plateau. the same applies for a diet. you cannot stay on and a steak and egg diet forever. your body will reach a homeostasis. a steady-state condition!

Pro or not, every body builder in the world knows exactly how to identify who they should be friends with and who they should avoid like they avoid King Cobras. Who ever their friends were when they were bench pressing the most weight in their life should remain their friend any anybody who ever in any way hindered their progression to bench pressing their best should be avoided like a King Cobra. People lie but bench press numbers never lie.

I have been going for 8 months and I can see a little bit of progress. Now it's been 11 months. For 3 months I did not see any result yet. keep it consistent okay. I am a beginner and I believe in the next four years I'll be different. Just keep it consistent and never give up!

I go to the gym 6 days a week, train intensely with cardio 4 times a week, and I eat 90% clean with one cheat meal per week; yet I can't make anymore gains. I'm strong but I mostly have that bulky fat physique rather than any definition.
I think it's genetics.

Unfortunately if I add more calories, the only thing I'm gonna gain is more fat. Great information and video, I just have one of those bodies that can't grow. No matter what. Keep putting the info up. Appreciate it.

Poor genetics. thats why.
The more I eat, the fatter I become regardless of how hard I train, and the heavier I lift the more injury I have then I cant train at all until I heal. Yes, I have garbage genes.

Almost lost my motivation today cause I wasnt seeing that much gains even though Ive been going for 4 months Im mostly seeing strength gains but this video really helped me cause I was extremely frustrated
