This may be the only ab exercise we need, but if you really want rock solid abs, you will need some diet too. IMO diet is the most important factor in bodybuilding and weightlifting. Personally, I followed a meal plan from Next Level Diet, and after six weeks I lost a lot of body-fat, and I even got six pack forming: D They also provide you with an home workout plan, grocery lists. Only donwside is that they don't have too many recipes yet.

First two exercises are exactly I ve been doing for the past two years. But for first, I use a 45 pound plate holding with straight arms above my head, moving shoulder a bit so that the plate stays on the same horizontal line through out the whole movement. For two, I do it on incline branch with my head being higher that feet - to fight more gravity. Good luck!

I do 6 ab exercises every other day, one regular followed by an oblique exercise, 4 sets per exercise, takes me about 32 minutes, resting 30 seconds in between sets, I have results, am I doing too many oblique exercises? You recommend only one in these 7 exercises

I have a spinal injury and as someone with a medical background, I strongly recommend that people with any type of permanent substantial back/spinal injury, DO NOT do sit ups on the decline. You could cause much more damage

You can combine the incline with a side to side rotation to hit the oblique's in one exercise, so hot 2 muscle groups in 1 exercise, and very challenging at the same time.

Actually you need just four leg raise in a bar, harder and first to execute, weighted crunches, vacuum, and wind cleaners, doing round your legs while hunging

Finally, no Bs. Treat your abs like any other muscle add progressive overload, and take rest between sets. Remember it take LOTS of time to get shredded.

I always thought you don't need to train your abs in order to get a six pack abs and of course I the old saying abs are made in the kitchen.
