The TRUTH About Testosterone & Building Muscle Testosterone 101 MrSilver222: WHAT? I'm sorry, on what basis are you making claims on effects of testosterone on muscle building? What science papers you've been reading and what scientific a research supports this claim? Can we have your source? I'm not bashing this guy, I'm not claiming that he's wrong because I haven't done a research on the matter. I'm just tired of people making these claims seeming out of nowhere as if it was truth, a lot of people fall for this shit (not talking just about this video, youtube is full of them. So, before anyone make up their mind about effects of testosterone, do a research. What is said in the video right now is simply an opinion, no facts, no research. Incoming white nights who will say I'm butthurt because I inject testosterone or something which I've never done, but honestly was thinking about it (health issues)

Your test is around 340 mg/DL which is the measurement ppl are probably more used to. For your age that's kinda low my dude, I think this is proof enough along with the copious amounts of studies showing how important low fat, micronutrient rich eating is for health. Your test would most likely be higher on a plant based diet the average being closer to 640 mg/DL. The combination of spiking insulin with easily digested sugar and high cholesterol, triglycerides etc. kills testosterone iifym = not optimal for health. Edit: I seen someone else mention vitamin D this along with zinc make a huge difference. For example in one study men who were deficient in vit D raised test by up to 50% and off course without zinc there'll be no test production.

Mate, i am not accusing you to be on, but the lifts you did, the physique you have make natty things seem pretty strange. E. g. compare yourself to Joe Delaney, who has (in my opinion) an outstanding physique. You look twice as big as Joe with near the same Bodyfat. I love your person. You have a great humor and seem to be humble. If you are on PEDs, please make things clear. Most of your followers like you for your overall content, not for your physique or lifts. They will stay loyal followers. If you don't make things clear, at some point, your whole community will get it and won't be able to trust you. I hope this won't happen for you. Cheers

Now this is really interesting, last year when I got my testosterone checked my result was 17, 9nmol/L. But there is no way that my body can build the same amount or more muscle than you do. Infact even less. This is really crazy. Coincidental today I saw a podcast with Charles Poliquin about this. He was talking about DHEA sulfate. What he said was that people who have low testosterone and are big, do have high DHEA sulfate. The people with high testosterone not that big, they have low DHEA sulfate. Now I see this, this might be the case for me. And for you, you could probably have high DHEA sulfate.

Your borderline Hypogonadal. Like, seriously. When I had levels like that I felt like absolute dog shit. Im now on TRT for life, just sayin'. Out of interest what time of day was it done and how much sleep did you have the night prior? Both of those will effect Testosterone. To be fair, if you feel great and have zero symptoms then I wouldn't panic too much. P. s I am very biased, I research things like this, run a forum and write articles on this very subject. I don't agree that low testosterone is health though, we know from the mass of Studies that low T is a silent destroyer.

Fascinating, I thought your Test levels were surprisingly low for your athletically built body. A fat guy could have a higher level which doesn't mean much, I'm over 50 Y. O. & with low percentage body fat & muscular built but sometimes wonder about my testosterone levels & can't afford a test. I don't build muscles easily & doesn't take supplements or eat a lot for this purpose, but I am still gaining strength & has more stamina that doesn't mean I have higher Testosterone levels than a guy who isn't fit & younger.

Thanks for that, my result came out at 26 and my doctor didnt bother explaining it to me. However T levels fluctuate wildly during the day and are noticeably higher in the early morning. Im sure you will have. er. ahem. noticed this. Also the key indicator is unbound testosterone as this is the type available for the body to use. So 80% of my T may have been bound and 80% of yours may have been unbound giving you more available T to actually use.

The sample for testosterone testing has to be collected at a particular time in the day, because it fluctuates quite a bit. While I don't care if Matt uses testosterone or not, this testing does not prove anything to the skeptical person, because he could have easily shown the results of another person, or obtained the sample from a different individual, or many other ways of cheating the test. So I'm not sure what this is proving. :)

11 nmol is quite low, it's amazing you've don't so well. Would you ever consider TRT when you're older? You could be more like 25nmol instead and feel better. It all boils down to side effects. If you've used SARMs or even some supplements they can actually lower your testosterone (or supress it. LGD 4033 sent me down to 7nmol and I was feel quite low, lack of confidence at that level. Also take the test as soon as you wake up helps.

I could be wrong here, but I think you've got this backwards. If you get fat, it lowers your testosterone. I, as a husky individual, can't go out and get testosterone injections and continue to sit on my ass and think I'm going to lose weight. It's the fat that causes low T, not Low T causing fat. Again, not an expert, so I could be wrong, that's just always been my understanding of it.
