Luca s legs have grown! He is going to be his uncle s twin. Y all might as well just tear down the current house and build a whole other house! A laundry room is a must. You put it downstairs so when you come in the house you take your muddy clothes off, shower in the downstairs shower, put on your robe and sit in the downstairs den. You get a dumbwaiter to send your clothes up and down the stairs.

You usually put the laundry room downstairs because washers and dryers shake like crazy and are noisy. So preferably as far away from bedrooms and on a solid floor. Anyway I don't know if I follow your logic, otherwise your bed would be in the kitchen, or the gym: -)

I love how excited you all are about the house: -) Its gonna be legit sick. So happy for you guys! And surely that garden needs a big ole trampoline! That'd be fun and another way for Matt to spy on the neighbours with his binoculars haha

Why don't you just destroy all of the house and build a new one from begining. Why are you renovating an old one. Its the same thing if u are destroying 90% while renovating just bring it all down and start a new one.

I can't wait to see the finished house! It's going to be so stunning! I never liked the slanted ceilings; but just seeing what it's going to become makes me rethink everything I ever thought about houses: P

I like the idea of the laundry room upstairs, but once it s washed you will have to carry the wet washing to hang outside. Make the laundry room into a clothes sorting/folding room.

Just one quick observation. How do you wanna shade all those massive windows? Or you all getting up with the sun and giving a show to the neighbors every night is one of the goals?
