Men Over 40: Want to build muscle faster Grab a FREE copy of MASS-40! What if I told you that being over 40 is not why your muscle gains have slowed down Much research proves that older men can build just as much muscle as younger men. In fact, one study comparing middle-aged men and college-aged men, showed that the older men gained 17% more muscle mass than the younger men. So, if we know that older men can gain muscle just as fast as younger men, why have your muscle gains slowed down In studies where older men matched the muscle growth of younger men, the thing that stood out the most was how hard they trained. So, if you think you have to train less or lighter because you’re getting older, you’re wrong. In fact, now is the time to ramp things up. [MASS 40] FREE WORKOUT FOR MEN OVER 40

I've been a bodybuilder for most of my life as well as personal trainer and at age 57 I can definitely say you can still put on mass but you also don't want to put on any kind of mass only quality. I also had to give up five meals a day my body just doesn't digest like it used to I actually go to 1 meal a day and then I'll try to have two protein shakes one after I work out and once just when ever. the one thing that will never change guys as you get older is I still have that 25 year old guy living inside of me so I want to look the best on the beach but more importantly keep my organs working properly including the organ between my legs. my man making these videos is spot on but always take a little bit but always take a little bit from each instructor and try them out for yourself because everybody works different I suffered a heart attack and a triple bypass 10 years ago and thought I was done and then I got in the best shape after my last afterwards without all the gear manage my body at 150 test a week by my doctor. work your body in the healthiest ranges but always monitor it. I suggest getting blood work which includes all your vitamins and everything can possibly think of. You can do this online pay for it and go to Quest 1 and they'll do your blood work for you

Im 44, started off full body 1. 5 years ago, now doing x12 sets most muscle groups. It's working out great. Some might call it overkill but my body doesn't think so. The idea being to just own that muscle then move onto the next muscle and not worry about it for 3 days. Haven't watched video yet, lol. My weights, reps go up weekly and I can see changes weekly with no pump. All the best, this is just my 2 cents. Train hard, eat well, take supplements, sleep well. Destroy it.

your videos parallel my experiences as a mid 50s lifter. i’ve been lifting hard and heavy for over a year and my strength and size gains have been incredible. I push most of my working sets near failure and get about 20 to 25 sets per muscle per week lately. As I’ve gotten older, the recovery seems to be far more critical so I focus on my nutrition and stress/sleep management.

MM, I'd like to see you guys talk to adjustments for those of us OVER 50 or 60 years old. I LOVE your content, but I wonder when you think it IS appropriate to continue training but reduce sets to prevent overworking or risk injury. Still strong here at 58, but am maintaining with two or three sets and have moved to upper- and lower-body splits to reduce training intensity.

All of the huge bodybuilders die young. So what's the appeal Seems kinda gay tbh. I used to be a powerlifter. Stopped when i started to plateau. I wasn't interested in going pro, but that's the level i was headed toward. for what so i got into cardio and thinned down a lot. Felt better.

I never imagined a book could change my life like Secret Testosterone Nexus of Evolution did. Stop what you’re doing and get this book ASAP. Trust me, once you apply its principles, your testosterone levels will go through the roof.

I've found there's a fine line between training to failure and injury. I can train hard enough to inject injury, but it's not worth it. The sets I miss out on from injury doesn't allow consistent training.

Ever heard of book called Secret Testosterone Nexus of Evolution It covers everything, nutrition, training, sleep, mental focus and much more. This book is the real deal, and it completely changed my life.

This is encouraging. As an older lifter, it’s the joints and tendinitis that break down. My body is not as flexible as my youth. Lifting keeps me young and the women love a strong man. Strong in many ways.

One set is all you need. Try Mike Mentzer way and you will see why. That is the way I do because I have a lot things to do during the day. Make your choice High Volume or Low Volume good luck.

It’s wild that book called Secret Testosterone Nexus of Evolution isn’t mainstream yet. If more people knew what’s inside, low testosterone wouldn’t be such a common problem.
reply

Over 40 here. I train lighter loads to failure. It works without all the injuries and joint pains. If you go to absolute failure, you can't train as often, and you don't need to anyway
reply

It’s no coincidence that book called Secret Testosterone Nexus of Evolution is barely talked about, most people have no idea what’s truly holding them back in life.
reply

Crazy how Secret Testosterone Nexus of Evolution is still under the radar. If you care about optimizing your health and performance, this book is a must-read.
reply

Anything more than 5 sets is overkill and doesn't allow the body to properly recover.
Plus, you're not giving maximum effort if you can do this every workout.

reply

If your over 40 you also need 2 times more protein to build muscles and also way more important to get your sleep for not lowering your testosterone levels.
reply

Possible, yes, probable, no. There are too many factors that lab research can't account for, the empirical evidence speaks for it's self, just look around.

Great video as always I was stuck in what to do go lighter or keep going heavy I'm now 40 years young and this is exactly the info I needed thank you
