I prefer to train fasted in the early morning (3: 00 am) after about 7 hours of sleep. I'm a nurse. I run myself ragged at work. There's absolutely no F's left in the tank when I get off of work. Breakfast and lunch sometimes don't get eaten at work so I eat a huge meal right before bed and lift before work the next day. My food is digested. I've had some mental and physical rest, and the craziness of the day is on pause still. Also, no one is going to call you and you never have to wait for a leg press or cable crossover at 3: 00 am. You can sometimes run red lights and stop signs on the way to the gym at 3: 00 am. sometimes. just be careful.

Well i believe it's all very hypothetical and subjective. Theoretically if you work out at evening when your body is already tired from your day and prepares for a rest, i don't think that shock plays out well in a long term. Second thing is having your post workout meal, which has to be at least 3-4 hours before bedtime (again, depends so much on personal settings, that late can't be very healthy approach. I am not saying that these studies are wrong but please keep in mind that everybody can attempt a study and post it online. Good luck!

While yes I agree if you don’t work out at all then just getting started regardless of time. With that said if you have been training for a while and you are training naturally I have found that for me at least muscle memory is something that is not talked about enough in general. So I switch my training times up every few weeks or month for I believe it helps to shock my muscles because they get adapted to my training schedule

I usually workout in the morning, I am not sure why other than I have to time and there is a belief that if you workout in the evening you will always find a reason not to but in the morning you cannot say I had a hard day. I think I will give an evening workout a try for a while and see what happens I can kind of see some benefits but have never done evening workouts for a long enough period of time to know if it changes anything.

In the evening I'm exhausted and just wanna lay on my couch after work. I prefer the morning. I'm well rested in a fasted state. I also have a home gym, where I can just get up go workout. I'm a early bird so I always wake up between 3: 30 and 4, so I don't have to force myself to get up and workout. It's more of a routine now.

I've been working out in the morning for more than 20 years, because family, job, life and less busy gym. Of course there are occasions when I work out in the afternoon/evening, and I can actually confirm, later in the day training sessions feel more powerful, however, I won't change my routine.

Hey do you guys have any meal plan videos I find I tend to over-rely on the same foods all the time and would like your guys take on a well-balanced, muscle-building diet. Thanks! Keep up the great work

Evening for the win as growth hormone is released while you sleep. If you work out before work you don't get any growth hormone for over half a day or more when you sleep.

Bro I think you are running out of ideas. Please stop misleading people. Also nobody should take caffeine in the evening or else you will keep awake all night.

I usually get up at 4am to work out, but the last few months I've been doing afternoons after work I think I get better results in the afternoon.

What about doing my work out spread out through the day but completing sets and reps for a specific exercise with normal rest periods in between

Yet sleep experts say working out at night impacts your sleep which impacts overall health more than just considerations of muscle growth.

Voluntary morning workouts beat mandatory evening workouts anytime. All these studies fail to cover the motivational aspect.
