Try this. Lie down on the ground, and do a -superman-. Extend your arms fully, and legs, and while on your stomach, raise them off the ground. you'll feel an arch in your lower back when you do this. It'll look like a Gorilla back. you want to bend over and keep that shape in your back when doing the rows: . If that doesn't work, you can do a one armed row. Its just like the first exercise described here, except you keep the dumbbell with your palms facing backwards as opposed flat.

-Moving to a smaller home where I won-t have room for a large dumbbell rack anymore. Replaced the whole rack with this adjustable set. The handle diameter is a little bigger than my old dumbbells --bestgym. equipment-- - I only really notice it when I do farmers walks with heavy weight. I do not have the stand but am considering that for the future. These work as expected. -
