If your goal is to build bigger legs in the shortest amount of time possible, you-ve got to focus on the exercises that give you the best ROI on your time in the gym. Think of your legs as a house, your quads as a shed, and the workers as the muscle you-re recruiting to do the work. Performing isolation exercises (i. e. leg extensions and hamstring curls) is like hiring 10 workers to build the house and telling 8 of them to work on the shed. Sure, you may eventually end up with a nice shed, but the house will never get done. Now imagine if you hired 100 workers to build the house then told 20 of them to build the shed. Both jobs would get done faster. Focusing your efforts on the big 4 lower body movements we are discussing today is like hiring 100 workers instead of 10. Are you ready to build your dream home? In this video I go into the what, why, and how of these 4 lower body mass builders. The movements that, if done correctly, will not just pack slabs of muscle onto your legs, but will result in brute strength and stronger, more resilient joints that improve health and longevity

I have a guy I know at the gym who I said -bro I-ve never seen you train legs- and he-s like -I do- and then I said -I didn-t see you squat tho- and then he-s like -I did legs today. I did leg extensions and leg curls-. Then I said -but you didn-t squat- then he said -Oh I don-t squat-. I looked at him in disbelief for a second and I-m just like oh ok thinking what the hell am I supposed to tell this guy.

I would go for 5 exercises and they would be these: squat, deadlift, reverse lunge, and hip thrust but the hip band mini ladder works the adductors which get missed so this is my five

You need to include hamstring curls to fully develop your hamstrings. The biceps femoris short head doesn't cross the hip joint and is only responsible for knee flexion.

Thanks for the detailed video; however, can I proceed with the same considering disc injury, as i am afraid of front Squat and dead lift? Any alternative if I have to avoid both?

High or low bar tho. I recently switched to low bar and I do love how it feels on the hip, but then again, I feel my glutes doing the brunt in low bar.

Tried squats on smith machine for the first time the other day. I worked on getting my feet further away and squating very low. Crushed the glutes
