Sets are fantastic but thats about it. The plot or story of this attraction isnt very clear and the performing is god awful. Are you supposed to be underwater? And why? It just looks like random scenes inspired by bioshock and pirates of the Caribbean for no reason. There isnt anything intense happening either. No real horror element. Theres nothing scary about it. Just very obviously guys in costumes acting at the same level as a cheap funhouse worker. You may as well have just left the thing as an art piece. The design is fantastic but everything else is cringy and embarrassing.

Weirdest thing: if you put a dark ride track through this (or really, any other Scary Farm maze) it would instantly be the best dark ride at this park or any Cedar Fair park. Why can't they apply this level of detail to a dark ride at Knott's, Cedar Point, Kings Island, etc? Obviously they have the in-house talent to create these environments. The lighting, sound, sets. it's unbelievable. Yet this park gets Voyage to the Iron Reef year round? Subtract the scareactors and add a plot with one or two animatronics and THIS SHOULD BE Voyage to the Iron Reef.

I'm a scare actor with 11 years experience, and I think that for a house to be good, it needs a mix of silent scares, and loud jump scares. I don't really understand this new thing that haunts do where it's all loud scares, or all silent scares. You need a good mix of both to keep people on their toes. People wandering around in costumes and not doing much isn't very scary. It's like the actors knew that it was only media night so they weren't putting in the full effort.

Wonderful absolutely terrific. Filled with creativity and style They keep calling this the main display an Octopus, but I think, judging from the back story and the costumes and scenery, they were trying for the terrible creatures from Lovecraft, rather than just a large sea animal. This was better than many haunted houses in larger places.

They by far have the most immersive and amazing style that kick's universals ass hardcore Knotts dos not rely on big name movies to drive there haunted houses they rely on pride and creativity and putting there own spin on old fary tails witch i think is way more fun and less predictable experience - DRV

okay the constant stopping gave me so much anxiety like I couldnt imagine being a scared person in the line behind you wanting to get out but having to wait for someone b/c they stopped. Id breakdown lol

I cant believe people in there were screaming and found this scary. the setting is unfitting to be scary and all actors do the same thing. Look at you, do that weird twist thing, move on to the next.

Not into this type of scares. I mean people just walk by and theres some scare actors roaming around and thats all. Oh and an octopus. hands down HHN does it way better
