In the mid-60s there was Pacific Ocean Park, a theme park on a pier in Venice CA. They had an Arabian Nights dark ride where you're suspended on a flying carpet a la Disney's Peter Pan ride. I was about five but I remember one of the animatronics had its head knocked off because the park was about to go out of business. I wish there was video (film rather) of that stuff; I was obsessed with dark rides when I was a kid. Tons of TV shows were filmed there after it closed but before it was razed.

I remember when I first went on this ride as a 5 year old in the mid 80's, Was the summer of 86One of my fav Theme Parks in the world, I got some video footage on a VHS somewhere in the loft-My dad would always say the Video Camera is nor a toy lol-I'm from the UK in England-Kent: -) Great Dark Ride + sooooooooooo pleased it is still operating after just over 33 very very long years

Very impressive visuals, wonderful color and atmosphere. But I wish I could understand the language, because without knowing what the narration is saying you really don't know what is going on.

Personally I would have made it where the 3 dragon heads all at once dropped their heads down and stared at the ppl passing by. This needs some help, not bad, btu needs help.

This looks really neat I wonder what they could have done if they had had a bigger, Disney sized budget. Even so, this is pretty cool and I'd love to take a ride on it

It's definitely better than other rides I've seen (much better than those Dubai ones) but Tokyo Disney has the superior Sinbad ride.

So, did Dreamworks misspell Sindbads name when they made the movie? Because this is the second Sindbad attraction that has a D in his name.

One thing I will say about Lotte World is that they definitely at least put effort into their attractions unlike a lazy theme park in Dubai.
