I prefer a new narrative of this ride rather than the previous one. It's almost like Melanie was possessed by the phantom, which turned her into a murderess, as we can see Melanie appeared with Phantom side by side most of the time. I'm convinced that it was Melanie who murdered her suitors without realizing her actions. If this is the creator's true intention for their new narrative, then Its allegory is quite haunting. Because that is how psychotic killers often see themselves as being controlled by a demon, or in this case a phantom.

Awesome video (as always. too bad that you didn't include the changing portraits in the gallery of pictures. as this new phantom manor had replaced most of them with new portraits. and not only that. one of those changing portraits basically proved beyond doubt that the phantom was Melanie's father (it showed her father transforming into the phantom. Thanks for posting this. was fun to watch

I like how they split this attraction almost in two. Starts off with fabulous Gothic old European style classic creepy unsettling things happening with an amazing orchestral musical score and special effects. Then it switches to happy jaunty jazzy American style everything is so funny dont take it seriously. I know which part I prefer

I don't like that the Phantom is upstaging the bride. She's not animated in any way. Also, there is no physical showing of what happened to the groom. The Phantom is NOT the groom. So what happened to him. At least one single scene of his demise.

Oh boi this one is different from when I went to the other theme park XDI remember the handles rattled and that bride ghost is way better than the random ones who followed you home in the mirrors Also, you're really good at recording

I'm glad they choose to put the Disneyland Paris ballroom music back instead of the US version like they did for the opening day. I like when things follow the original, but in this case our version is better

If you read the unofficial history of the Haunted Mansion, Walt Disney and the other head creator took pains to try not to make it too scary for children. This ride in Paris was way too scary in the graveyard.

This actually looks amazing But the Version in the US is better in my Opinion. Mostly because of the Ghost with the Hatbox and the ending with the Hurry Back Ghost and those hitch-hiker ghosts: D

I really love the bride's tone when she follows you homewill youuu marry meee? plus insane laughter makes sense since she would have gone insane from waiting her entire life in the mansion.

Wow I think I love this more than The Haunted Mansion at DL. It's like they fleshed out Claude Coats vision fully, as apposed to a half silly half spooky on for the mansion.
