Volcano Bay Water Theme Park - 2 Trap Doors Water Slide POV high above the Volcano at Volcano Bay Water Theme Park at Universal Orlando. Kala and Tai Nui Water Slide POVs. Hatchy: When we went to Orlando this was the first slide I went on. Me and my sister took the long walk up and saw a small group of people just waiting at the top in line, realized they were deciding if they wanted to ride the slide. Since they couldn't make up their mind they let us go first. Me being the mischievous child I am got an idea. I walked on to the slide and right as I just started dropping screamed as loud as possible, you don't even want to know how loud that was. So then wanting to see their reaction, we went back up and lucky for us, they were still there. Now they were looking pure white they let us go ahead again and this time I screamed even louder, all in all After that we stopped, the virtual line getting longer. Never knew if they actually went down. We had a pretty good time; )

I rode this at night and I must say I felt like I was not going to make it. The anxiety is REDICULOUS as you wait for the trap door to drop, then, it is SO fast The water was rushing in my face and I just wanted to survive it I can say without a doubt that it was a the most thrilling ride that I have EVER experienced, including coasters. I am still undecided as to whether I enjoyed it.

i rode the green one and i literally thought i wasnt going to make it. i was basically breathing in water because there was SO MUCH OF IT GOING UP ON MY FACE and i had a little panic attack when my legs uncrossed and i had trouble crossing them again because of the force pushing down. it was so exhilarating but nerve wrecking so im still on the fence whether or not i liked it.

I went to the red one, followed all the instructions I end up sprained my ankle at the end of the ride, after yelling 5 times I think I broke my foot still no life guard jumped in the pool to help me and comes to find out the park DOES NOT HAVE A PARAMEDIC They gave me and my wife a wheel chair and she had to pull me out the park with nobodys help.

When I went to Volcano Bay I didnt know that these were trapdoor slides, so I thought it was a normal side without a trapdoor. So I took my 8 year old sister and my 10 year old sister almost all the way up to realize that it was a trapdoor side. So we climb back down the stairs. Note to self, always read signs before going onto a waterslide.

I went on this last week (the green one) let me tell you I nearly had a cardiac arrest at the drop you cant see or breathe as you go down so fast and the water sprays all over your face when I got to the bottom I was shaking like a leaf from the adrenaline and my body actually hurt from the force Ps. The stairs on the way up are torture

I remember going on the Ko'Kiri Body Plunge. To be honest, the most scariest part for me was the anticipation of the drop because you're never going to know when you drop. I wouldn't recommend the Body Plunge for people who suffer panic attacks but I would recommend for people with a fear of heights, it helps with overcoming that fear

Beyond awesome, too bad theres no red video here. That plunge is incredible, you have to cover your mouth and nose to breathe the first few seconds of free fall. Scariest part is definitely waiting in the pod, but the rides are a blast. I dont know of a better water slide out there

What I found funny about these two slides is that all the workers say the blue slide is the more intense one than the green so when I went on blue it was really nice and had low expectations for green but then was super surprised by the SUPER TIGHT FAST curves and air time drop at the end.
