I love the crack of ass start and casual summit in the middle of day. Yawn. Makes one wonder why everyone else gets up at midnight.
Your comments about the glacier kit that you don't know how to use was really funny. I really don't want to be one of to be one of those comment section experts. But I'm only going to dip my toe into that cesspool by saying, would you please tighten up all that damn slack between you two! It reminds me of the Euros on Denali back in the day. Hilarious.
BTW, Chase's ski turn game is on point.

Congrats on bagging Rainier. You got really good weather.
BTW, good meeting you on the Orem foothill trails a month or so ago. We talked eBikes. I'm happy with my Levo SL but you may want to look at the Trek Fuel EXe. Or get a Levo for the extra range and power.
Coincidence: I passed fellow Mediocre Amateur Blake mountain biking up AF Canyon a few hours ago. I didn't realize it was him until I'd gone by.

Great video. Thumbs up. You roped together all the way up but then skied down. I don't see the logic in that. Is there less or no danger of falling into a crevasse when skiing down? Also, have you practiced extracting each other from a crevasse if one of you does fall in? It is a rather complicated procedure especially if only one person is out of the crevasse doing the rescue.

I don't get it. It seems that two of you are fit and have the experience, not even mention all the equipment thta you are carrying on! YOU NEED TO FUEL MORE OFTEN! To Keep the energy levels as stable as possible! Danny lesson learnt. don't ever eat what your digestion system is not used to. Always eat before you run out!

You can tell yall are in a hurry by the quick cuts on the way up. Cant believe they dont have an online permit system for day of climbs, especially if everyone in your party has climbed that mountain before. If I lived there Id try to finagle an annual commercial permit by working for a guide company on and off.

Rainier car to car in a day is no joke. You guys always make it look, if not easy, doable. We took our time going up that route 20 years ago sans skis. Just topping out from Shurman and then heading all the way down to White River the last day smoked us. Absolute beasts. Congrats!

Absolutely spectacular footage! I've done that route with an overnight at Sherman. Much respect for doing it in a day, and then adding more punishment for another ski run! The 3D cam footage adds another really nice perspective. Always a joy to watch your content and banter: )

3: 00 as a fellow big ape mouth breathing hiker and extremely mediocre climber, could you please recommend a brand of sunscreen that tastes better for mouth roof applications that tastes better than Banana Boat (which is false advertisement and tastes NOTHING like bananas?

Was just at Rainer NP last week with my wife and 8 month old and all I could do was dream of climbing it. Biggest hike we did was up Pinnacle Peak (great view) but hopefully my buddies and I will be back to have a go at Rainer's summit sooner than later!

There are few things more satisfying then the sound of crampons on dry frozen snow. I did the Cleaver and Kautz routes before summitting Denali but never skied either. Well done! How you dont have a million subs is a UtUbe mystery.

Great climb, good video. We're going to start a Go Fund Me so you can put Apple AirTags on all of Chase's gear, and sew one in his underpants so he and his gear can never again be left behind.

hey! Any chance you guys will attempt Mt. Shasta? I feel like that's the big summit on the West Coast you've not tried yet. Would love to see your experience on Shasta (especially Casaval Ridge.

Alot of snow on the Emmons glacier for July usually more crevasses are showing and by late summer the inter glacier is bare ice and the snowline is right around Camp Schurman.

What a wonderful adventure! So glad you guys made it. At one point I was watching and thinking, when seeing you with the skins: I'd totally get my crampons on, right about now.

Fun fact: if you dont check out on time, they start calling your emergency contacts. Dont forget like I did! Did you guys do this in 1 day? What was your car-car?

Danny you should talk to your Dr about getting some prochlorperazine maleate for your nausea. Doesn't affect cardio systems (as far as Im aware) and is amazing.
