Arches National Park is home to over 2, 000 arches and is one of the most stunning national parks in Utah. The park feel otherworldly as you look at natural wonders like Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch or during a hike through The Windows section of the park. This video shows the full day my dad and I spent in Arches National Park exploring all that it had to offer. Let us know what we left off in the comments and

I recently took a trip to Utah where I hiked both Delicate Arch in Arches NP, and Angels Landing in Zion NP. Believe it or not, I actually felt more nervous when hiking near Delicate Arch than I ever felt high up on Angels Landing. Delicate Arch is surrounded by steep slopes of slick rock near big dropoffs. I quickly learned that hiking on steep slopes of slick rock made me feel very nervous. Im just not a fan of hiking up steep slopes of slick rock. I think its a matter of personal preference.
Angels Landing wasnt nearly as intense as I had envisioned the hike. There were a few narrow ledges on Angels Landing with big dropoffs on either side that made me feel somewhat nervous. Anyone with good sense should feel somewhat nervous and scared near the narrow parts of Angels Landing. I think feeling some amount of fear and nervousness near areas of potential danger is actually a good thing, because it prevents you from doing something foolish. Angels Landing is most definitely a hike that requires your attention and concentration with every step. The view from the top of Angels Landing is absolutely amazing, and is well worth the effort! I would recommend Angels Landing to anyone of mature age who is not afraid of heights. I would probably not hike to Delicate Arch again if I ever go back to Arches NP. However, I would happily hike up Angels Landing again if I ever make another trip to Zion NP.

My girlfriend and I will be there next month and I am so glad to have found your video.
This has been in our travel list for quite some time and I want to thank you for posting it
I am a partial amputee (partial left foot) and I'm wondering how difficult the moderate hikes actually are.
I'm not too concerned about being a fair distance from some of the arches as I have a 600mm telephoto lens for my photography as well as a wide angle lens so I'm covered.
Also, I can't agree more about Dot's Pretzels and will have to stock up while I'm there since I can't get them here in Toronto.
Thanks again!

Love this park when the crowds are down. Got shut out of the Brittle Arch hike 3 times due to no parking availability. Went in November and the crowds were minimal and Brittle Arch was amazing. Im actually a fan of the Park Avenue hike but you need to hit it in favorable lighting conditions to truly appreciate it. If you and your dad have a chance sometime watch the first 10 minutes of Indiana Jones and the last Crusadeyoull get a kick out of how the park was used as a location for that film. As always-thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos and get a kick out of your dad.

Great video and especially the wonderful tour you gave to all of us. We were here a few times. last being Sep 2021. Park was packed as usual and parking another story. I loved the hike up to Delicate Arch (Icon of Arches, a must.
Hope you saved time for Canyon lands N. P. and Dead Horse State Park, both a short drive up the highway. Both, beautiful parks and breathtaking views there.
So much to see in Utah and never enough time to spend in these beautiful Parks. Thanks again for the fabulous tour and all the valuable information.

Thank you so much for this share thst park is one of our favorite places on Earth, that as well as the town of Moab. Thank you again. Your videography work is outstanding, just wanted to tell you that I think that with every video of yours I watch. With this one you made us feel like we were there again. When we visit it is during January with some snow, and it is dead with no people. It gives a totally different perspective with the snow on the Peaks and ridges! >Merton

Your Dad is so cool and funny.
Looks like you two had a great time together. I wish I spent more time with my Dad when he was alive.
I stumbled your video after searching for Arches NP. It's very entertaining and informative. I'm a new fan.

Oh man, you missed the easiest one, you walked right by Skyline Arch right by the amphitheater since you were already in the Devils Garden campground. Was camping there last month and had to go look at it every time I used the restroom. :-)

Beautiful video! It's nice to see you sharing this passion for hiking with your father.
I have a question. How did you organize your visit for all these viewpoints? Are there in order when following the road?

What a stunning location and a brilliant video, thank you. Definitely on my bucket list. And good to see Pops taking his brave pills to do that last section. I was nervous for him lol.

There is a story that the names Landscape Arch and Delicate Arch got switched. I have always felt this to be true and would be curious what you and Pops think. ?

Great video!
Let me ask, when your Pops is worried about exposure, is he concerned with the heights? Or the sun and wind?

I was there the second week of November. I grew up in that country and just seen it for the first time after living there.
