Tour of Minneapolis & St Paul - Travel Destination to Twin Cities I lived in Minneapolis in 1977. I used to go to Moby Dicks Whale of a drink, The Hungry Eye restaurant, The President Lounge, the Vice President Lounge a block south of the Pres, Lyles Liquors on Hennepin, Union Station, The Longbranch, The Mirror Lounge, The Rusty Nail, The Embers family restaurant, Spaghetti Emporium, Zantigos, a Mexican fast food place and a ton of other places. Is anyone here old enough to remember those establishments Downtown Hennepin Ave. was rough and ready, lined with head shops, massage parlors, xxx theaters and bars--a classic combat zone, not the lifeless wet rag it is now. Does anybody here remember the nitty gritty Minneapolis of old before the amazing transformation it undertook starting in the late 70s

I drove through Minneapolis in 2019 to visit my father-in-law. It was such a mess because of all the incomplete road construction and closed intersections, it looked like a demilitarized zone. I don't have the guts to imagine what it looks like after the peaceful arsons and lootings from the following year.
We're going to have to return to help my father-in-law clean out his house (if it hasn't already been taken over by local squatters) or move at the end of the month. God help us.

Hello Randy; when i went to chicago to my friend's place 2 years ago, we couldn't land at chicago airport because of a big storm. So, we made the stopover in miniapolis. I liked your video, I expected the city of miniapolis to be so big and so beautiful. Thanks for the video.

One of the better ads I've seen. Walking Minnehaha Creek from the water fall to the end gives the opportunity to step from Minnehaha gorge into the upper gorge of the Mississippi- a magnificent experience. We have a great vegan meat market; classic ding abounds.

Next time I visit USA, I don't repeat my previous mistakes and will instead rent a car and drive from Providence to Indianapolis and beyond through all these states visiting these cities that really truly most of us in Europe seem to overlook.

The U has a nice campus and interesting buildings. An aerial shot of the campus would have been nice. I spent a lot of time there, it’s worth walking around it. For a quick bite to eat, I also liked Dinky Town which is just off campus.

I have lived in Minneapolis most all my life. I was born here, and lived in the same house for 53 years. I think it’s a beautiful place to live and do business. I produce the Minnesota Event Planning Expos and have been for years.

To come here you need a bulletproof vest and a armor car. This all smoke and mirrors to hide the truth of a socialist democratic city. Your putting your life in there hands. Be careful out there, it’s not safe

Just a friendly suggestion. Reduce the music audio levels. It's hard to hear what you are saying sometimes. Music should be a subtle backdrop, not the foreground. Your spoken commentary is what I want to hear.

HAHAHAHA Let's make a current video on this subject. Burned out, demolished and vacant building. Concrete barricades with chain link fence and razor wire blocking off Government buildings. Thanks 2020 Politicians!

I love living in Minneapolis, especially in the summer. I live just across the Stone Arch Bridge and love taking walks across the bridge to downtown. Such an amazingly beautiful city!

I enjoyed the video! South Robert Street in St Paul is unique having over 50 fast food spots to eat at. The 494 strip is cool but the Mega Mall in Bloomington takes the show!

I live in northern mn. Totally refuse to go to minnapolis/st paul. Nothing like it was during the 70’s and 80’s. A person can thank Obama for the biggest change

Democrat shit hole. Poor leadership and they encourage and support violence. Make martyrs out of criminals and bash law enforcement. Come at your own risk.

Stay out of either city if you aren’t from here, people will absolutely run you for everything you got and the police won’t do a thing about it.

The State has been ruined by the local government, crime has skyrocketed, and the metro area is in severe decline. Thank you democrats.
reply

Unfortunately they don’t show the city when it’s covered in snow and ice with negatives temperatures. They leave this out for good reason.

I know it's not Minneapolis but I'm surprised you didn't talk about the airport or the Mall of America. I mean it is all connected.
reply

Yes, the Twin Cities does have alot to offer but the people are very unfriendly and only pal around with their cliques.
reply

Minnehaha Falls is pretty good. They have a good park for kids. At the bottom there's shallow water kids like to play in.
reply

Wonderful. I noticed people used their turn signals in Minnesota as well compared to living in Florida right now.

Come to our town and watch buildings burn and cops being attacked for your next family get away! Bunch of Clowns!
