Sorry, you lost me at Red Iguana. Everything is covered in mole sauce, which is great if you love it. The salsa is more like tomato water with hardly any flavor and the chips are way too thick. It's like biting into deep fried cardboard.
Just north of SLC is Mo' Bettah's, a Hawaiian restaurant with phenomenal food. Epic Casual Dining in Murray, south of SLC is also fantastic. Simply Sushi and Sushi Ya are really high quality All-You-Can-Eat places and Rodizio's is the best Brazillian Grill around with exotic meats on the menu in October.

Man. I was excited to see this video, but finishing with Oh Mai brings tears to my eyes. I loved their Bahn Mi and Pho. I was also a huge fan of Lucky 13 by the baseball stadium, Real Salt Lake games, and going up the trolley at Snow Bird. But this list, while I didn t partake of all 22 things, I did greatly appreciate it. I lived in Utah for 7 years, nearly 2 of them just south of downtown SLC, so I know all too well the places and things you discussed here. Thanks for sharing!

I was hoping you d mention the library. It was pretty cool. Thanks for the recommendations. Last time we were there we visited the sandlot where the movie The Sand Lot was filmed. SLC is pretty unique. And I always head up to park city when I m in SLC too. But that s another review

I live on the WF.
It is a beautiful state that many try to monetize all aspects of life here.
Air pollution is a major problem.
Wages have not kept up with the cost of housing.
A very materialistic mind set here - they have lots of stuff.
The true God here is.

I live North of Salt Lake and regularly run on Antelope Island, love Eva's Bakery and Gilal museum. I had no idea about KFC starting in SLC and I want to see the Aviary and the Leonardo museum. Eva's bakery has amazing vegan croissants if peoe are looking for vegan options.

One note, Antelope Island is north of Salt Lake outside of Layton. It's about half an hour north of Salt Lake. It's at least as amazing as presented here but it's a little out of the way.
Sigfried's Deli is a much better place for food than anywhere he mentioned.
