I think the Sacre Couer should have been mentioned. I love the Musee D Orsay and the Louvre. However, with kids, those two might be tough b/c kids get bored quick. The Sacre Couer has a fun neighborhood where painters, artists, cafes and restaurants are there for you. Dali museum too. I take a taxi to the top of the Sacre Couer (it is on a hill) b/c the metro and walk up the hill kills me. =)

Is there a possibility you can make a list of the lesser tourist attractions? I want to see Paris for it's raw, natural beauty that most tourists aren't aware of. Not that I don't appreciate these sights! These are all definitely on my to see list, but I really want to get a feel for the natural and authentic Parisian experience!

I will be there first thing in the am next time we head there. last time we went at night and my wife got a bit claustrophobic in the elevator so only made it to the first level last time. but did make it to the top a few other times but thanks for the heads up on the early morning. much appreciated: )

Word of advice folks. i went to Paris in October and went to the Eiffel Tower at opening time, about 9am. i was the first person on the tower. no queue, no waiting. AWESOME!

Important: If you want to see Parisian life, come here outside July/August. In those months, Paris will be emptier, because Parisians leave for vacation.

Hi Wolter! Thanks so much. What airlines do you fly when coming in from the US? Do I need a visa before I go. I would like to work there any suggestions?
