These like and dislikes are made to objective via the use of the word you as in someone other than the video creator.
This video is on big personal projection.
1- WHy would you Want to go to a beer garden? Its noisy, stinks of cigarettes, the seats are bloody awful and crowded.
2- Heavy food? Dont order a Heart Attack Plate. Get a salad and some Bratkartoffle.
3- The christmas markets suck. They use to sell hand made items by local artists and still do but very few of those type of booths exist anymore. Its mostly mass produced crap.
Ok ill stop with the negative rant. oh one more thing, german beer is terrible. ive lived here for twelve years and have yet to find a beer i like.

When I was a kid, we were based in a small town called Werl. There were Americans down the road, as well as Belgians to the side of our patch. Our primary school was literally across the road, but secondary school was in Dortmund. It is tragic that despite living for 4 years in Germany the only thing I saw was the Mohnesee Dam and a few fun parks like Stuckenbruck and Fantasia Land. At that time, primary schools didn't do languages, so I only got a bit of German at high school before returning to Scotland. My parents didn't drive, and not once took us on a train or tram anywhere. It was either the school youth-club trips or Scouts that I got to see anything at all.

The trouble with Christmas time in the south of Germany and across in Austria is that so many things close early, or completely, for the holidays. It gets dark early and the Christmas decorations help, but there is so much less to do than the warmer months. Still had a great time when I returned after 35 years away a few years ago.

Munich and Rothenburg are probably two of the most touristy cities in Germany, especially in July-Sept. Unless you like overcrowding I would avoid them at these times, many other beautiful places to visit in Summer. I've been to Munich in January but wouldn't recommend it, never been so cold in my life - lol

the thing I hate most about Bavaria are the hate laws created to shut everyone up, and the nazi hunters that look for men in their mid nineties to accuse them of being guards in prisoner of war camps and throwing them in prison to die alone.

Im very lucky having German relatives who live in Rosenheim in Southern Bavaria and I had the privilege of having many beautiful holidays in Bavaria and also visiting my many relatives and seeing the real Bavaria from their prospective.

I was stationed in Regensburg for a year (67/68) as an Army Medic. My goodness! Such a great place! It was like being in dreamland. Once there, you cant forget the place.

I really like Bavaria until I visited Thuringia. My daughter lives in Meiningen and when I came over there to visit, I simply fell in love with this city.

Have visited many parts of Bavaria on four different trips and love every bit that I've seen. Will be going back as soon as travel is possible again.
