we head to Disney Springs to start a new series of detailed tours of the 4 different districts or areas of Disney Springs. We start out with this video in the West Side District. We go through and visit every shop, restaurant, and entertainment venue in the West Side. Included in this are the all new NBA store and a look at the entrance to The NBA Experience, House of Blues, Jaleo, Splitsville, AMC Dine-In and many more. Disney Springs is constantly changing so the line up in this video might not be here forever, but hopefully the video gives you a good idea of what the area is like and what is offered. Be sure to join us tomorrow for another new video. More info on Gospel Brunch at House of Blues: Other vids we mentioned in this vid! Our tours around Epcot's World Showcase: Disney Quest: Splitsville: Jaleo: Margaritaville Orlando Resort: Disney Style: Characters In Flight

House of Blues
If you are visiting WDW and you live outside of the USA
Be very careful House of Blues run a scam designed to catch you out
The scam goes like this a family order a round of drinks
The round of drinks is supplied and the bar staff ask
Do you want to pay or open a tab
And this is where the scam works
If you say that you want to open a tab the bar staff will say
Oh by the way who is the alcohol for
If you say I want to pay for my drinks the staff say nothing
But within a couple of minutes a new member of staff who up till now you havent seen will approach and ask to see IDs of everyone drinking alcohol
The staff know that the likelihood of you having IDs is zero
Failure to produce ID results in the drinks that you have just paid for being confiscated
Regardless of weather you are opening a tab or paying for a round the staff should ask you before you pay who the alcohol is for
And think about this the alcohol that youve paid for and now had confiscated goes under the bar until someone else places their drinks order
Youve paid for alcohol that you now havent got
Alcohol that sits under the bar until someone else pays for it

Fit2Run saved our trip! But boy at a cost. Day 3 of 9 and our sons shoes went out. Mind you they were only 2 months old to begin with. Like I wanted to spend $150 on shoes for a 12 yo. The place was packed on a Thursday night right before closing. We were treated right and the staff took their time with the fitting.

I miss Pleasure Island. My dad used to work there and I went there from time to time. My favorite club was the Adventurer's Club. Kungaloosh! I even remember New Kids on the Block performed at Pleasure Island. Ha! Great memories. Man, I miss that place. : )

When you do the other side of Disney Springs will you eat at Polite Pig? They have the BEST whiskey (I think) brussel sprouts I have ever had and I can't find a copycat recipe anywhere. Can you see if the chef will spill the secret please!

Several years ago for my daughters bridal shower I had m&ms done with their pictures on them. Adorable! Unfortunately it was an out door shower and right when the shower was to begin the heavens opened up! Rain. Best laid plans. lol

I love going into the Pele soccer store! Everytime my family and I are vacationing in Disney World; we always stop at Disney Springs to shop and I always find myself a way to go to the soccer store and see what they have!

Disney Springs is always so confusing. We really appreciate you guys making this overview. Helps so much to go over this ahead of time and plan out the specific shops we would like to visit. Thank you Tim and Jenn!

Fun fact - Splitsville is where they had a Virgin Records, thats where you would buy CDs. Millennials a CD you would put in a compact disc player and music came out of it. Miss that place, wayyy before iTunes.

Sosa was awesome back when it was Downtown Disney because there used to be a man that would hand roll the cigars inside where that lounge area is now. Back when Virgin Records was there and Pleasure Island
