It cannot be emphasized enough about travel distances. Many European nations are the size of just one of our states. For example, Germany is the size of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Poland is the size of New Mexico, Germany + Belgium + Netherlands + Czech Republic + Switzerland + Lichtenstein + Luxembourg + parts of the UK, Northern Italy, and France will all fit inside Texas! Belarus is the size of Kansas, and Greece is the size of Alabama, you get the point. So yes, stay regional. Thinking you want to come for two weeks and experience all of the US would be like going to Europe for the same period of time and wanting to visit the UK, Germany, France, Poland, Greece, Italy; it just isn't practical.

Regional culture differences can be HUGE! Do not think Kansas will be ANYTHING like California for example.
On and the mid west does not describe the same region depending upon where you when you hear it! (Grew up in Alaska and Washington-mid-west was the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River. now that I live in Delaware (yes, the First State is a state) I hear it referred to as the area west of the Appalachian Mountains to the Mississippi River)

People of America please support people of Russia against all those greedy warmongers. Lets together stop hate for profit. From a Russian-Ukrainian of Kazakhstan

Wow! You did a really great job. You might want to make a part 2 as many thing can be added on with changing technology (like Uber/Lyft, DoorDash/instacart, being able to rent electric scooters/bikes in cities with an app, how to deal with homeless people/ be prepared to see tent cities, etc)

Don't think you can see California in less than a month. Joshua Tree to LA to the Sierras to San Francisco to the redwoods? Choosing a region in the US is wise, but CA is too culturally and geologically diverse to not explore, despite the time it'd take.

If I'm smoking in a designated area, I don't care what the Anti-smoking Nazis think. I'll even tell them to mind their own business. It's different where you're at on the coast because in flyover country, we're not as obnoxious about that.

I usually Tip the rounded amount I will pay in sales tax rounded. For example if my meal is $47. 27 I am getting charged $2. 83 in sales tax, I will tip $3. Makes it easy to calculate since $50. 10 meal + $3 tip= $53. 10

TIP: The US is mostly a cashless society. 95% of the businesses will take debit/ credit cards. It is safer for travelers. It is actually recommended you carry no more than $100 on you in cash.

I'm very afraid of driving because i've seen on TV that Police will shot you if they imagine that you are a danger. that's why I would prefer to ask for a driver or use a Bus for moving.
