We have owned a cabin just across the border in Idaho and occasionally drive into the park for dinner at Old Faithful or a dip in our secret swimming hole on the Firehole River. Nothing is as irritating as tourists stopping in the middle of the road and holding up traffic for hours. Please be considerate people - some of us do not want to spend an hour looking at your elk or Buffalo. PULL OFF THE ROAD! PLEASE! Same thing if you are pulling a trailer, or for some reason want to drive 20 MPH. PLEASE PULL OVER FREQUENTLY! I cannot stress this enough!

An additional reason to not drive over the speed limit is that some areas of the roads around Yellowstone is that there are cliffs nearby off sides of a road to suddenly have a 300 - 500+ ft drop off straight down, beside the chance of a random moose, bear, car, person to be in the middle of the road not moving. Also as mentioned for the mention on the cell service. the last time i was there, I had ZERO cell service while inside Yellowstone, several years back.

Be careful driving. These big animals will mess your car up. If you've never seen how big these animals can be, they will destroy your car. Hitting an Moose, Elk or Bison will hurt your car.
Camping hint, keep your food away from your tent. A bear comes by you don't want them looking in your tent and see a main course.

We visited in June 2020. It snowed our first day in Jackson Hole. Day 3 we went horseback riding in t-shirts and sun hats because it warmed up so much. Be prepared for every type weather when you go there. Bring layers, rain coat, waterproof shoes, hats and gloves. Awesome advice.

Pro-tip: If you don't have children, don't pick the prime summer months. It's already far too crowded. Wait till September, or October, do research about when. Early fall is usually the best time for animal viewing. And avoid the crowds.

Were you really in my neck of the woods a few days ago and didn't look me up? Or is this an older video just upladed now. True it's not a zoo, don't put yourself in danger. The steamboat geyson went off constantly in 2019 when I went.

Don't forget to download offline Google Maps. It was a life saver when we were there last year. Large chunks of WY have little or no coverage.
