we head to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the media preview of the new ride, Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. (This vlog was filmed on 12/4/19) We start the day with the ride and on ride POV video, this attraction is amazing! It truly sets the bar high for rides in general. I was blown away with the level of detail within the set of the ride, the amount of animatronics, the quality of the screens and the overall scale of the ride. I really did feel like I was in a Star Wars movie, it was awesome! We also got some up close looks at some of the set pieces in Galaxy's Edge, we got to see some speeders closer than we've ever seen them before. Although this isn't something that a normal day guest would be able to do, we were happy to be able to share it here in the vlog. The amount of theming in this land is really impressive! Then we take a quick ride on Smuggler's Run before we head to the media center to show some of the new Mandalorian merch and The Rise of Skywalker merch. We end the day with our thoughts on the new ride, I think this is the best ride out there right now, I was really impressed with all aspects of Rise of the Resistance and I highly recommend riding it when you're at Disney's Hollywood Studios on your next trip!

Thank you for ALWAYS including wheelchair users and disability in your vlogs. At the beginning I was so sure I wouldn't be able to ride ROTR because it said I must be able to transfer which usually means be able to stand and walk onto the ride, something I'm unable to do, but when you showed that the side of the carriage opens and I can slide onto the chair (which I CAN do) it made me so happy that a) Disney have made that a possibility and b) that you cared enough to show it! It means more than you'll ever know that you do this.

Hello, TheTimTracker My question is not related to this video you posted. Wanted to know if Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities takes Disney Gift cards for purchases or cash. I read the new policy and Disney World mentioned for every $100 spent they put a $100 hold on debit or credit card that is on file at the hotel.

We were boarding group 2 yesterday and no kidding. the ride opens and then shuts down and opens and then shuts down. Its ridiculous. Park opened at 10am and we were GROUP 2. we didnt even get to ride til after 3pm. Ride is amazing but theres wayyyyyy too many kinks to work out.

How is it for someone who suffers from motion sickness. Like, will I have to take a dramamine before riding it like I do for Star Tours? I really want to ride it when I get to go to the park, hopefully in the next few years.

Rode Rise of the Resistance yesterday and I'm still in awe and shock. It was super next level. We got boarding group #68 at 7 AM when the park opened and didn't ride until 7: 30 PM! Totally worth it. There's nothing like it.

How does the stand-up simulator manage to get from the (fake) Batuu base to the (fake) imperial base? I never understood.

I am in a wheelchair and tried to get on Rise of the Resistance and while the side did slide back a couple of inches the whole side did not swing or slide back, that would have made it SO MUCH EASIER.

Always funny hearing americans whine about what they consider cold. Lmao. If you live in California or florida, there ain't no such thing as cold weather. Maybe a little brisk, but that's it.
