In todays vlog we head to Disney World to see how easy it is to find allergy friendly food options at the EPCOTs Flower & Garden Festival! It was surprisingly pretty easy, we found gluten, dairy and nut friendly items and the menu options were pretty delicious as well. Gluten friendly menu items are notated on the festival passports as well as the plant-based items. You do have to ask the cast members if there are any nut allergy friendly items or dairy allergy friendly items at the booths but the cast members were super knowledgeable and happy to help when we asked. We had the bacon jalapeo spoon bread at the Honey Beestro, grilled baby veggies with hummus at the Flavor Full Kitchen, popsicle trio from the Refreshment Port and the vegan chorizo on fried corn dough and the taco vampiro both from the Jardin de Fiesta in Mexico. We also watch one of the in park mini seminars about photosynthesis and receive a free take home project. We end the day with a look at what's new around the park and talk about some of the new park news & updates!

my best friend has a gluten allergy and she was THRILLED with the food she had during our 2019 trip. The tricky thing was that usual she is vegetarian, and wound up eating meat at most meals just because gluten free vegetarian options were few and far between. We're going back in 2022 and I'm really interested to see how many of the plant based options they've added since we visited are also GF! She's happy to eat meat on the trip if it makes it easier to find good food, but it would be great to have more options!

Loved this video! Epcot does do a good job on helping out with what foods people can, and do eat. This was good showing that. I love the vegetarian options myself. Always tasty. Plus it shows you whats in them. There is so much to try at this food festival. Ive been twice, and thats just scratching the surface. That Mexican dish is on my top list. So glad you liked it. Thanks Tim!

How timely for my family! We are headed to Disney at the end of May. My youngest son is allergic to Everything. eggs, milk, dairy, beef, and pork and peanuts.
YES please make videos like this! Allergy Moms and Dads would so appreciate it.
Also with mobile orders and multiple allergies how do you order for a kid like mine?

As a parent of a child with food allergies, I appreciate this video! If you do it again, could you specify between items that are peanut free and tree nut free? My daughter has a peanut allergy, but can eat tree nuts. Thanks. I am a huge fan and enjoy learning more about Disney through your videos!

As someone who has to be dairy free this video is wonderful! Dole whip is one of my new favorite go to snacks in Disney because it's vegan! Can't wait to be able to go back to Disney some day!
Also! I think the small green vegetable are either pattypan summer squash or eight ball zucchini

Thank you so much for making this video! I have multiple food allergies (gluten and dairy) and it can be hard to find safe things to eat at the festivals. I tend to just eat what is labelled as gluten free and plant based but I know there's a lot more that I can enjoy! Thank you!

I have a daughter with severe peanut allergies and we found Disney to be very good at helping you eat safely.
Just ask to speak to the chef and they come to your table and discuss all options available. Very well done Disney.

My last trip to WDW 4 years ago was the best by far because it was so easy to find things to eat, I felt like I could spend less time worrying about meal times and more time just enjoying being there. Can't wait for my next trip.
