This year I ran into cartel members who were getting ready to fight rivals from los Reyes when we ran into them they were chill with us they did ask questions but most of all they dont go around killing innocent people which the USA actually think they do all the cartels do is hunt down rivals and most of the innocent people that are killed are killed in crossfires

my family is from mexico city and i get excited when i go because its my culture. everyone is so nice and treats you with kindness. everyone is commenting how dangerous it is but its like going to new york city. new york is dangerous like other parts of the world. you just have to be smart and know how to protect yourself.

I live in Mexico City and when Im feeling down, I grab my headphones and simply walk around the beautiful mix of nature and city until im lost and have to use google maps to get back. Some places are REAALLY dangerous (and you know just by looking at them) but most are chill. Mexican people love people. I love it here

I was in Mexico City, 2016 and I really liked that city, and I most say that I agree with you that it felt alot liked Barcelona. And same as you I felt really safe in Mexico City; and in Mexico in generell

Europe has all the history, America has nature and scenery, Mexico has the best of both worlds. I really hope solutions can be found to these issues and that the country gets a lot more respect on the world stage

If youre a tourist always go by plane. Do research and dont go to the dangerous areas. I went to monterrey and I felt safe, it was fun going to el paseo de san lucia. I was taking pictures and everything
