One mistake Cabo De Rama Forts were built by Soonda Rulers from Karnataka which were later captured by Portugese. Most of the forts in India were built by Indeginous rulers for warfare not by colonials. I wish you visit more natural places and temple to see indigenous architecture and beauty and not sites of colonial era. If you like visiting forts, you should visit Raigarh forts in Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Gives you quite the idea of how warfare happened in that time

Touristic touristic. Ofcourse all these places would be touristic not only coz they are unique but also coz there are over a billion peopleand they all like to travel if they have the means. So yes it will all touristic. But thats part of the whole experience visiting India.

I think India is super underrated country for travel because of what we get shown by Western media. But I do believe if you know the do's and don'ts you can travel great in this amazing country.
