Biscayne National Park sits southeast of Miami and comprises over 170, 000 acres. Most of the park (95%) is underwater, so you really need to scuba dive or snorkel to get a feel for it. They do have tours that run a few times a month that take you to the above water portions of the park and we took one of these tours to see the park's lighthouses. It was a great 4 hours on the water boating across the Biscayne Bay and getting to see three lighthouses. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Deering Estate is great (they even decorate for Christmas! Love Biscayne National Park. They have a great mangrove hike at the visitor center (not that many mosquitoes) did you get a chance to visit Vizcaya, the Kampong, or Fairchild Botanical Gardens? Looking forward to the next video!

I am surprised there are houses on stilts in the open waters, I would believe that the amount of hurricanes from the 50s until now may had took anything out. I hope whoever built those is still alive or left their building methods for posterity.

Triple A for you again on the presentations. Always accurately presented to the point of jumping in my car with my cat and go. go. go. on road trip.
