Every person should travel alone at least once in their lives! In this video, I share some of the lessons I've learned from traveling to every country. There are a ton of little pieces of advice I can give you about solo travel. For example, carry a paper copy of your passport in case you lose it. Bring Tylenol, anti-diarrhea medication etc, with if you get sick because you have to take care of yourself. Don-t walk around with both headphones on at night (or in general) depending on where you are. You always want to stay aware of your surroundings. One of my biggest pet peeves about solo traveling is having to bring your bags with you whenever you go to the bathroom so nothing gets stolen but it-s all worth it in the end because solo travel is one of the best things you ever do for yourself and your personal growth. I wish you all safe travels! Ashley: Drinking on any trip is always a bummer. Maybe a beer/cocktail with dinner or a wine tasting but anything more than that will more than surely ruin your trip. Hangovers, de-hydration, roofies, diarrhea, possible blackouts and more than anything LOST TIME. You can have a drink in a bar anywhere, getting out and experiencing your surroundings is what you are there for! Great video Lexi! See you in Myrtle Beach!

Arriving late in Seville, we found all hotels closed and no one would open up for us.
We found a spot in the park to get some sleep before morning. Getting in late to NOLA
we decided to spend the night on the gambling boats, we actually made a few bucks too.
Then after breakfast we found a spot to stay.

Someone like me who has not travelled other countries is a little bit frustrating because I am not used to travel alone and especially places I do not know so maybe in the future with my partner I will travel.

This is all good advice. what i'm wondering about is how in the world does someone go to every country in the world at that age without a job. that's gotta be like a quarter mil at least to travel that much!

I always schedule my arrival during the day, but it doesn't always turn out that way.
Even in Mexico where I know my way around a late flight cost me money and some misery.

Going to victoria bc still always feels strange. Because it is strange. Even though its just 60 kms. away. Anything more foreign than that, forget it.

-I have so many friends, especially male travelers who will just go to a new place with no plans and just go with the flow. - sounds like Yes Theory
