Rimrock Trail in Allegheny National Forest 4K - Backpacking the Best Trails in Pennsylvania Laur: Thank you for your amazing videos. I think I've watched at least 20 of them now. I love how it's a spiritual experience for you and not just about hiking from point A to point B, pace per mile, how much weight you're carrying and all that other b-------. I live in Pittsburgh and I'm scared about all the fracking and coal and oil pipelines in this state. One example is the town of Dunbar, PA which was already completely poisoned when one of the fracking Wastewater Wells leaked toxic chemicals into the river killing countless fish and trees there. It seems like the big energy companies will stop at nothing to make money and we're going to lose everything that's precious because we don't have the foresight to stop it now. Besides feeling helpless about that I try to get to Allegheny National Forest as much as I can I love it there. Have you backpacked in Hickory Creek Wilderness in the ANF yet? One of two federally protected Wilderness areas in Pennsylvania. Highly recommend it you'd love it.

The closing philsophic questions you had like -what happens when there are no woods left to wander in? - Made me think of Nausicaa of the valley of the wind when she figures out that the earth is poisoned, not the plants. -Who could have polluted the entire earth? -
Without a doubt, one of your smoothest adventures. I don't think you guys (and gal) had anything go wrong! Well, besides an overactive imagination. ;)

As a houseboater on the lake, I love your video. I believe the crew of jet boats you filmed is a group known as -The River Rats-. Friends of ours. Do you geocache? we have two north of Sugar Bay that we maintain. Sergeant's Point (GCX36C) and Daddy Dotter Mountain Cache (GC3W5TF. Go to geacaching. com and input those codes to see story and log. Peace! -Tango 1 (also known as Froggy.

DUDES! I finally got to this one. Beautiful video. You guys should be proud. I know there's a ton of hard work involved. And what's with the weather on this trip: no rain or storms? Happy that everyone could relax and just hike for a change. Also, Nicole is awesome and made an epic breakfast. Bring her again! Cheers.

Fantastic film as always fellas! The richness of the forrest colors are so beautifull and the foliage looks so lush. Nicole made a great addition to the team. I like how you did a lot of camp chilling in this episode. The music worked perfectly too. It was awesome to see you guys take a trip in my home state.

Who ever heard of wasting good potable water to cool off the hot embers. you should use the more natural recycled -watering- system available with so many people standing around the fire lol.
Great video, we always enjoy seeing new adventures! Places we haven't been to yet.

wait, Allegheny National Forest was the main location of the second to the last campaign in Left 4 Dead which is called Blood Harvest where you start in the middle of the woods and end at the farmhouse? and also you will be rescued by a military truck?

- 13: 56 you say that plant is sassafras. How sure are you? I have never seen a sassafras with that leaf structure. Every sassafras I have ever seen has a leaf with three rounded points. Is this some weird, rare sassafras?
