Being excited when nothing is happening is so surreal and new urban areas give me that feeling. Then you realize just how mundane everything is and that feeling of excitement gets even more surreal. I completely understand your ramblings Robby, it's such a hard feeling to describe.

I enjoy walking in the woods at night, but not a city. In 1993 we walked around Detroit after a night baseball game looking for the tour bus parked several blocks away. That would make anyone a little nervous in that city back then.
