Land Between the Lakes in 4K - Hiking and Backpacking Kentucky's Best Trails Gina: I live in the NC foothills, was born in the Great Smokys and have hiked/camped most of my life. I enjoyed the Smoky's video from 2015. If you haven't heard of this yet, you might try putting cotton dryer lint and petroleum jelly into a ziplock baggie and squishing it around. In a wet campsite you can make an -upside down fire- with it. Flat, dry as possible spot, put a chunk of the lint/vaseline down, stack twigs around it, slightly larger pieces above that with largest pieces in a pyramid above/around. The lint will burn long enough to dry and catch the twigs, which should dry and catch the larger kindling. That should dry the bigger pieces. Dead standing trees are often dryer, and you want to not camp below dead trees in any case.

I work on tugboats, they push the barges. its not a bad job and sacrfice time with our family, I work 28 days at a time but i get to go home for 28 days, so its a nice job for me since i get to do whatever i want when im home, i work half the year and i don't have to worry about work when im home.
Btw, those big cylinder metal things are called cells, we connect a line between the barges and the cell to keep the tow (barges) in a fixed location and prevent from moving all over the place. Very useful when you're waiting for another boat. This boat was probably waiting in line to go through a Kentucky lock

You just made me spend like 90 minutes watching a bunch of people go on (I'm sorry to say) a rather boring hike in a very easy (and civilised) area. Car roads and power lines everywhere. Mountain bikers )How about getting a bit out of -the comfort zone-? How about a place without luxurious paths and established camps? America must be full of real wilderness. You guys are excellent storytellers, but. could you please go somewhere wilder and more exciting? Cheers.

Dear Andrew, Bryan, Robby and Nicole. Thanks soooo much for the video of hiking, the sunset, the uplifting and candid conversational talks as well as the mouth watering cooked stew. The friendship and fellowship among you guys are soooo amazing. Just 20 mins into the video, I felt i really wanted to jump in and join the hike even if I have to follow close behind.
Paul Yip (Singapore) CHEERS!

Great fun. A little preaching. Lots of camaraderie. It's nice to have good friends you can do great stuff with. This is like watching a reality TV show, only better, because it's not scripted and it's different places every episode. And you guys have such a great sense of humor. Thanks for brightening up my day (evening, no, night.

You're videos make me want to do more hiking, however South East Asia and particularly southern Thailand, are so incredibly hot, that overnight camping is sometimes an effort in futility! You sweat all night long and can't sleep. I NEED AN ELECTRIC CAMPING FAN! Keep up the great work guys and thanks for all the fun!

You guys put me in the woods, lol. So enjoy your adventures, can-t get away from it. We do trails and parks here in Canada. My girlfriend asked me today, (while I watched Adventure Archives) if I was gathering great ideas for our camping this summer. - Oh YEAH! Thanks to you ALL. -

I have wondered if you guys were getting enough to eat on some of your other trips. With the wonderful stew, I think you got a good, hearty meal this time. I loved watching Nicole cook the stew. She is a great addition to your group of hikers.

you'd probably never know this (I sure didn't) but the term -peanut gallery- has a history of being a racial slur. Just fyi, I was glad to learn this so I could just not use that term anymore. Love the videos! (at appx 17: 45)
