Considering that the Smokies Park gets more visitors than nearly all the other national parks, I am surprised that some of the directional signs on the trails you are on appear to be so weathered rotted away to be difficult to read. The trails appear to be in very bad conditions also, erosion down to bedrock in places. I don't remember it being so badly disintegrating back in the 1960's, although bugs and disease are also taking a toll on the trees up there.

What incredible video and music. But more importantly, what great commentary on life. I have had a new perspective on life lately, it's to cherish every moment; whether it be with those you love or it be the experiences you have. It only took me 40 plus years and a lot of time being frustrated, disappointed, angry, etc. I could never just slow down enough to develop that appreciation until recently. Thanks for reinforcing my beliefs.

Scientists say that millions or more years ago the Smoky Mountains used to be higher then the Rocky Mountains are now. Time and erosion have weathered them down. Your videos and also your attitudes about life in general are delightful, and I'm thrilled that you share them along with the wonderful scenery of your hikes. Wishing you thousands more miles of enjoyable hikes and I'm looking forward to seeing each mile of them.

Smoky's i think also clumps people together due to the rules on where you -have- to camp. Camping does tend to be sort of sprawling. from a single hiker with a 2-man tent as a rule. the inherent sprawl of people not wanting to be right on top of each other. It's amazing when like. 10-20 people on a bus or subway car isn't a big deal, but 5 people additional to a camp ground feels weirdly crowded.

I just stumbled upon your videos, and I am impressed with the quality. I am almost 70 and hiked up and stayed in that same shelter in May 2020 with my son-s family. It was a highlight of my life. The wallpaper on my phone is the sunset that night. I-m going back in October with my daughter and we-re going to stay in one of the cabins. Guess she is trying to one up her brother. I-m excited.

I just found your videos and I thoroughly enjoyed your hike through the Smoky Mountains. We have been to Gatlinburg three times but have never hiked the trails. Age and hip problems keep us from enjoying the trails. Thank you for taking me along on your journey. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The views were amazing. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

It was great seeing you guys hike together again - your personalities go so well together. I've been away too long from your videos. Beautiful scenery! I was shocked that Andrew (THE fire master) didn't start a fire for warmth during the cold night spent in the shelter. The 5 or 6 epilogues of this video were hilarious! Keep up the good work.

These guys have the best cinematography and content in the hiking community. All of these episodes accentuate what being outside is truly about. As huge fan of Henry David Thoreau myself, it's really a treat to hear AA quote him. These videos serve to inspire people to get outside and you're doing a great job!

I love your guy's videos none compare and they have gotten my 2 little ones interested in camping/hiking. I have a question though. These all seem like you hike a trail head and camp at camp sites how do you find these? I can't seem to find trails that have camp sites or do you just find a spot you like?
