Hiking to the Highest Point in Texas - Guadalupe Peak & Carlsbad Caverns in 4K Misha: Great video, just think of hiking those mountains and hills during a Blue Origin -almost- space shot due south of that park.
I saw how close you were to Carlsbad Caverns, I was going to suggest, but you read my mind, thanks. I have been able to explore caves in the Albany, NY area some were just crawls with a sump or two, one began with a 150' vertical drop into the cave. The caves explored included Clarksville Cave, McPhails Cave Preserve, Schoharie Caverns Nature Preserve (the vertical entry) as well as several other solution caves (NY) and fractured caves (VT.

Andrew - you mentioned you wished you knew a geologist. Look up Prof Nick Zentner who teaches geology at Wash St University. When classes at the college were closed because of the virus, he started a series of geology lessons from his home. Then later on he opened up his Geology 101 class for us to watch, followed by his Geology 351 class. All are on You Tube. He also has some of his public lectures and many more geology videos I'm sure you'll enjoy. I highly recommend him!

Be thankful the elevators at the caverns were working. I visited there one time a few years ago when the elevators were not working because they were upgrading them. the hike down into the caverns was fine but then having to return the way you came! That was a hike of epic endeavor for an old, out of shape man like me! I was never so grateful to be back above ground!

I am prone to watching ultramarathon videos, especially my favorite dude full tiltward. I love long form hike videos also, having watched a few of those major through hikes. I love y-all-s Gentle and intellectual nature, and your lovely camaraderie and sense of humor with each other. It-s just what I need today. Thank you

Your guys videos have truly inspired and motivated me to push myself to do more involved outdoor activities. Finished my first solo backpack last night, and I wouldn't have even thought to do it if I it wasn't for your videos popping up on -recommended-.
So Thank You! I'm sure others have felt the same

I love these guys, the Yosemite one wherein Andrew describes -not being able to put a price on a 5000 star resort- (not verbatim) while analogising a typical 5 star resort is wonderful!
That said, pretty sure these guys got baked somewhere pre or during the meal at 50-odd minutes in -

Thanks for the video guys. I am gonna do Guadalupe Peak at the end of October. I have been up to Whitney a couple times starting at the portal. (My first attempt at Whitney I got altitude sickness and died on -the wall-) Next time you go up to Whitney please cremate my remains. Adonai

I-ve been putting off this video because I am so excited about this adventure! As a fellow Texan, I am so happy y-all are exploring my stomping grounds. We actually planned to hike this trip in November but with a baby on the way, we will have to live vicariously through y-all!

I remember the days when Carl's Jr used to have great food back in the 90s and early 2000s, even the pancakes they served for breakfast were made with fresh batter. They really have gone downhill, its like the leadership is trying to sabotage the franchise. what a shame.

I am digging you guys. I think about the flora all the time, but I am not well-versed in the nomenclature or the categorization. I also think about things like what got me here, and it was a lot of people. Keep on keeping on gentleman
