I've been loyal to Virgin Australia since 2000 even though they sacked my sister in law a couple of years ago, but in 2018 was the defining moment when I took my family to Hawaii for my 40th birthday.
On the departure day Brisbane had a rare heavy fog and due to this Myself and my family missed our Sydney connection on Hawaiian Airlines to HNL but thanks to a Virgin Australia customers service we were first priority on the next HA service to Hawaii!

Good stuff as always. Im in Perth. Used to fly to Sydney then Los Angeles all the time on VA. Mixed things up last time I went stateside pre pandemic and went on QF to Dallas, which then allowed me onto many American Airlines codeshare flights.
Now, lets talk vegemite. Im not the biggest fan. However, if you have a Weber and cook roast beef on it, use a clean drip tray to catch all the drippings, hot water and vegemite makes the best gravy!

Sorry to be a pedantic prick but the company is not Qanas, it's called Qantas, with a T (Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service. Your diction omits an important part of the company's name, T for Territory. I enjoy 90% of your videos but kindly pronounce the name correctly to at least partially sate your Aussie viewers. I wouldn't say Amerigan Airlines or Bitish Airways. But, you do a pretty good job otherwise.

Great video. I'll be flying QANTAS business class from Perth to Brisbane next year when I visit my relatives who live in Brisbane. We are doing the Indian Pacific railway from Sydney to Perth. So looking forward to that. Also, I love the food that Neil Perry conjures up as I've eaten at some of his restaurants o my two previous trips to Australia. And I hate vegemite.

I love that you do a very clear & concise voiceover without a bunch of useless talk like, Josh Cahill or obnoxious overzealous up-sell like Sam Chui! Not to mention, your reviews are appropriately timed videos that are very much to-the-point which makes it much easier to watch without having to forward anything! Thank you and please keep it up, JB!

Loved to see you try the vegemite. If you haven't grown up with it then most people hate it. I have seen chefs from Mexico try it and hate but their children who grew up here absolutely loved it. Great videos. Commenting from someone who has flown around the world a lot in coach. Singapore is my favorite airline.

if you try local flights (SYD-MEL/ADL-CNB or so) you will find that Qantas is a lot better, you have to pay for good food and drinks on virgin, Qantas offer inflight entertainment, free food, free drinks including free alcohol in economy class, domestic flights definitely Qantas for me, good vid tho brother!

Too bad virgin Australia retired all their a330s
Also, of course the Vegemite was bad. It need to be on a form of bread with butter or cheese unless youre hardcore. Also every non-Australian puts far too much on their spoon, but if you have it in smaller servings

You mentioned that you preferred your own headphones, but it's probably not fair to compare a $300 pair of headphones with the free ones? FWIW, the Sony noise cancelling headphones provided on JAL are reasonably effective but not very comfortable for extended use.

Hey dude, like most Americans you had too much vegimite on the fork. You only need a small amount spread on toast. Love the vids and the look on peoples faces trying vegimite for the first time.

Great video, but you tried Vegemite way wrong. You're supposed to apply it basically as the thinnest film imaginable to a piece of bread. I like it with a little butter myself.

You were already in Australia before your first flight. How on earth did you not know that we correctly name our starters entree and Mains are Mains? As for the Vegemite eye roll

My dad works at 737 pilot for virgin Australia. So I actually feel really offended when someone prefers Qantas over virgin Australia since they are competitive airlines.

The best flight we've ever taken was Melbourne-London direct with Qantas Business Class on the Dreamliner. A very long flight made better by this wonderful airline.

Eating half a teaspoon of Vegemite is the same as eating half a teaspoon of mustard. You just don't do it, it has to be used very sparingly

In Australia, we support Virgin, as they stopped QANTAS from gaining a monopoly in the Australian skies. For that, we are thankful.

As a Brit, I would never fly Virgin. Mainly because Richard Branson is a traitorous dickhead and I'll never give him my custom.

Im always happy with Qantas and not travelled with Virgin Australia for quite some time due to multiple poorly serviced flights.

As an Aussie, his way for testing Vegemite is classic cringe. Watch Hugh Jackman show Jimmy Fallon how to do Vegemite properly
