First of all, enjoy the special guest appearance by my friend -- and YouTube Star - Dennis Bunnik William: Showing up 10 minutes prior to departure messes up the boarding process of releasing seats for upgrades and non-rev flyers. Your ticket is a contract, Delta has the right to release your business class seat or any seat 15 minutes prior to departure but, instead of leaving you behind because you're a frequent flyer instead, they will have to inconvenience the person that was given your seat and send them back to their original economy section seat and remove the non-rev from the aircraft if it's a full flt. Just a suggestion arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure to avoid having your flight leaving late and causing all these problems. This 15-minute rule is generally for domestic flying because upgrades on Int'l flts. are cut off at 24 hrs. prior to departure. One last thing is if the flight is full and you do end up in business class, the flight attendants are already putting the pre-departure drinks away and stowing and securing the carts so now, you might be a little upset if you didn't get your champagne on International flts or your gin and tonic on domestic flts. but, again they want to please the customers and end up getting your drink instead of preparing the cabin for departure by ensuring all luggage items are properly stored and other safety-related items. What a mess a late person can create and not know what strain it causes on the airline employee and possible delay.

First of all Jeb, I think that you provide the best videos about flying different airlines. Last year I was able to become platinum with American. I am so sorry I did. The lack of IFE is inexcusable. I feel so committed to American because of obtaining this status. After watching your video, forget it. Delta treats you better. After all, what is there on an air plane? Service, food and entertainment. If you can't have entertainment unless you bring your own device, what? Food usually is not that good. Service varies by the crew on board. My beef with Delta was they did not have enough chicken dinners to serve those on a flight from LAS to MPS. The only other choice was salmon. I don't eat fish. The flight attendants were not considerate at all. They only wanted to talk with each other. Pissed me off. I will be flying Delta in February. After watching your video, I believe I will be flying Delta to Germany in August.
Thank you for your videos.

Hi Jeb and sidekick Dennis ( in this instance)
You two guys are a breath of fresh air for all travellers with succinct presentation without airline bias. Great stuff to reflect upon before booking our next flight. What also makes a difference is the sense of humour, for after all if one cannot enjoy flying where is the fun? Fun for me every time I take off to a new destination, perhaps a new type of plane or perhaps thinking about your experience and savouring the moment. Look forward to sharing with you the possibilities of flying Melbourne to Paris direct or with you Jeb, Chicago to Melbourne; see you in the sky!

Delta One is a great product. Ill agree with you on the headphones Bose is the gold standard. Flew their suite from Detroit to Seoul and it was pleasant. Storage was a little bit of a challenge, but overall the service was excellent, food was good and the flight was smooth.
Im still tossed up if I like this seat or the Korean Air Business suite better as I had the window suite and despite the 2-2-2 configuration every one had aisle access, which made the window suites feel bigger.

Dennis in the video is Awesome!
So sad to watch this video now, since Delta retired their entire Boeing 777 fleet! The 777 looked so great with the new Delta One cabin so cool
Love the 777 so sad! Im also glad to see the Delta A350s replacing them though! What a great way to go 777s!

I have rode on N706DN on JFK to ATL but in Comfort+. Its such a nice aircraft. The 777 is my favorite plane in the world and I was glad and happy to ride on it for the first time ever a week ago. I just wish was on a longer flight cause I can ride on a 77L for hours!

Great video man! I fly on X-Plane a lot and I often fly the Delta 777 and Delta or AA 737 on X-Plane. I often fly those between Seattle and Toronto, and sometimes from Toronto or New York over to the west coast like to LAX or SFO. Anyways, great video!

1: 40 that IcelandAir 757 has to be as close as you can be to an antipode from Iceland and still be at an international airport. That's 10, 300 miles, so it had to take like 3 long hops to get there for a 757-300. Crazy.

Thank you for sharing. I find your videos informative and your opinions genuine. Could you find an authoring software that could normalize the volume level throughout the video though? Keep the videos coming.

Looking at this video does make me miss the 777 delta once had, then new retrofits mean less delta one but the cabin is way much better and the old pod seats needed a facelift
reply

Despite the seatbelt sign being on the majority of the flight, did you feel there was any need for it to be on? Like was it a bumpy flight or mostly smooth
reply

Was it me or did the cabin seem quite loud? I flew an A340 from Denver to Munich a couple of years ago, and it seemed nearly silent compared to your 777.

OMG Everything will be OK! LAX has a hospital on site, your spider bites, snake bites, unholy creature bites, everything bites will all be treated!

If I had a GF or Wife, I'm willing to sacrifice being able to choose a seat for a couple for getting a window seat.

Business class is like first class someone says
Jeb: then first class must be even better cant wait to check it out

reply

The noise in that plane is terrible, you can hardly understand what you're saying. Can't they do anything about that?
reply

Hey! Not one but TWO Hawaiian Air(craft) on the ground at LAX! I think its calling you back to our islands, Jeb!
reply

I cant believe that 13 months after this video, delta announces that they are grounding the entire 777 fleet

Jeb sounds like an ocka Aussie. He needs to go north. They sound to pommie in the south. Sorry Dennis: p
