Hey Jeb. Just landed at Greenville, SC (GSP) co-pilot was taken off the plane first, he was very drunk. It was a United flight from Houston IAH. Non-stop on a E-175. I was in 1A. I smelled the liquor on him. He was taken to a police car. Heard the flight crew saying, We have to cover this up. Im in a wheelchair, why I was so close to him being taken away. Was the worst flight I ever been on. We keep dropping, randomly. The left him in the flight deck. Should have gone back to Houston, seconds after take off.

4 hours to be exact that is if your Final Destination is Manila Philippines byy taking the red eye JFK-ICN KE086. Note that the daytime flight KE081 has an incoming red eye connection from MNL KE624 and Cebu KE632. ICN is also home to Asiana Airlines basically Korean Air competitor in New York to Philippines market via South Korea. These are called Prestige plus seats had an experience sitting in the aisle on the overnight flight KE086 JFK-ICN December 2006.

I had a 9 hour layover arriving from Manila and heading off to Amsterdam. Despite being in economy I had access to the prestige class ( like business class ) lounge as korean air sent an email to be printed off. The lounge was ok, not much food choices neither good views of the ramp. But for the first time in being in a lounge, it was the best long layover I have ever had.
Edit: it was in Incheon intl

Jeb. I find the first class curtain issue very interesting. If one is sitting ahead of the curtain you are very thankful that the curtain has been close and really can hardly wait until the curtains is closed. However if one is sitting behind the curtain, it almost seems like a suggestive snub to anyone from the curtain on back. So at the end of the day it seems to make some people happy and not others.

Thanks for the report. I'm flying in that same bulkhead seat next month ICN to BKK. (After Korean's 787 from Vancouver, which has an all aisle access business class) The one thing that bugs me about Korean is that they serve peanuts, in a bag. Almost all other international business serves mixed nuts, without any peanuts, in a bowl. Such a little thing, but makes a big impression.

for the 1-2-1 business class seats or those staggered apex suites they use on the newer Korean air business class or JAL maybe a bulk head is better but for these 2-2-2 or 2-3-2 style seats probably not unless they have the screen right on the wall in front. You also ate a rather healthy meal from my home country so you can enjoy some delicious ice cream.

Another nice video, Jeb! Was there anything more than an apology (assuming that she apologized) for the wine spilled onto your pants? I can only hope that it was white, not red. Yikes! BTW, thats an impressive collection behind you. Im just now approaching 200 books, but it looks like you are very well read.

Jeb dude, that particular A/C looked a little tired. might have just been my impression.
I'm sure that would have been an interesting experience having the flight attendant mop up all the champagne off your pants lol. Can only imagine. Keep the trips coming dude, haven't seen many for a while

Great video ( with watch shots too -thx. I flew Korean Air in 2016 in J class from LAX-ICN on an A380 and then from ICN-SEA on a 777. I was less than impressed - especially on the A380. It was packed, noisy, and the food was mediocre. Then 777 was better. Thanks for another great trip report.

Great video Jeb! I flew on the A380 from LAX to ICN. I was in coach, but was invited upstairs since 3 of my friends were flying biz. It was incredible! I got to have a martini from the bar. Then, after about 30 min I was escorted back down to steerage. Ahhhh. it was nice while it lasted!

Another great video Jeb. I've flown through Incheon 4 times. Did you know the airport offers complimentary tours for transiting passengers with more than 5 or 6 hours to kill? You book it in advance on the airport authority website. One even includes the Maglev train!

Have flown with them in first from Sydney to Seoul. For my money, the best first class product on the market. Sure, sans the bling of the gulf carriers, but the personal service and attention to detail were second to none. And food was stellar. And I'm a gourmand.

I don't like the bulkhead, as you can't put your necessities (phone charger, etc) in a bag and put it under the seat in front. Granted, there is more legroom, but I prefer to have a little more convenience than a little more legroom.

The food looked great! It looks a little outdated but I'm sure business class is nicer on the 747 or A380. I also dislike the bulkhead I really hate the immovable armrest and the entertainment system not being on the seatback.

Hey Jeb great flight report, looks like a great service although the spill of wine was not a good thing. Bulkhead seating is ok but I personally don't enjoy sitting there. Nice aircraft all in all great service it looked like.

I love how nobody is talking about the fact that this was the plane that crashed in Cebu!
Side note: I find it chilling to see inside of planes that crashed while they were still in operation.

I got a bulkhead seat on economy class from Singapore to Barcelona on an A350, and I liked it so much. It made the 14 hour flight a lot more bearable because of the extra legroom.

Completely agree with you about preferring the IFE on a seat back. Loved the music choices this week by the way.

Great video! Have you ever reviewed a seat on Virgin Atlantic? Sorry if the question is a bit random.
