Watch this video to see the entire Aer Lingus experience onboard their flagship Airbus A330 from Dublin to New Yorks JFK! Youll see everything the airline has to offer on one of their most premium routes from their home at Dublin to New York City. This video highlights everything from the Aer Lingus Business Class check-in experience to the Aer Lingus Business Class lounge in Dublin. Youll even see everything onboard from the industry leading Aer Lingus Business Class throne seat and the Aer Lingus food. Youll see the inflight entertainment from Aer Lingus and so much more Out of interest, what did you think to Dublin airport? I haven't flown much, certainly recently, but when I last went I found it to be one of the most depressing places I've ever been! So much grey and general dullness everywhere and I think it affected the staff too as they were pretty miserable at the time.
That said, a great experience with Aer Lingus when I last used them.

Horrendous airline. Flew to new york jfk from edinburgh in September. There IT system failed globally, therefore they cancelled our flight. We were at the airport for over five hours and they didnt even keep us updated or give the reason, we found out on the internet news.
So went home and rebooked after waiting over four hours on the phone, the earliest flight we could get meant we lost three nights of our seven night holiday.
The flight from edinburgh was delayed again and when we got to dublin we had just over an hour to get through US pre-clearance, which was packed and it was only the fact that security let us jump the queue that we made the flight at all.
The airline sent out a generic apology about a week later! And three months later we are STILL waiting for compensation. Oh and to top it all they lost our luggage. Avoid this mickey mouse airline.

Could I please correct you on a minor point which is a mistake I have seen Americans make before. That second meal with the sandwiches was NOT 'high tea' (unless there was an additional hot dish served which was not shown in the video. It was afternoon tea. 'High Tea' is an outdated term, rarely used today, which I would associate more with the 1930's to describe an afternoon meal with a hot main dish, which was commonly served to children in lieu of dinner. The children eat high tea and are then put to bed before the adults eat dinner. In any event it cannot be high tea without a hot dish.

ok so, Im going to Ireland in 3 weeks with my family and my grandparents paid for the whole trip and i was looking at the itinerary for our tip and I saw that we were going to be flying in business class and i was shocked and happy that we were going to Dublin via business class on Aer Lingus. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Nothing more than foreign airline masquerading as an Irish airline/National carrier, complete with the paddywhackery and diddley di BS. This foreign airline is owned by IAG and has nothing whatsoever to do with Ireland. Our National Airline, yes, we once had one, was sold by the coalition government of FF/FG in 2015.

Just did SIN - BKK on Singapore Airlines and BKK - SIN on Thai Airlines. Both flights full flat leather seats with aisle and window access, 5 star food and beverage and top entertainment, for a 2h flight. Count with that the quality and the convenience of the airports. Why is Asia is that far ahead.

I wish the U S. airlines would go back to offering perks and amenities like that but they're too selfish. I love Ireland and Are Lingus DEFINATELY shows the best of the country. Between the airline, the beautiful countryside and Riverdance, Ireland has given us some memorable and wonderful gems.

At time point 9: 44 to 9: 47 (a shot out the window) I could see the engine barely turning! The 6 on the nose of the turbine I know car wheels seem to be turning backwards in some scenes but, I've never seen a jet engine rotating so slowly in flight! Film trickery?

I might be forced to fly this to get to Barcelona. The two by two layout of business class is not great. Most airlines give you on the window side one seat throughout business class. Guess I have that to look forward to if I have to take this. Thanks Jeb.

Just saw this video. Thanks for this. My family and I will be going to Ireland in September. Not sure if we'll fly Aer Lingus or United, as our home airport is Newark, NJ, and both United and Aer Lingus have nonstop flights to Dublin.

There are few things that have as positive an effect on me as hearing Irish accents welcoming me aboard, especially if I've been away for a while. It's like stepping off the rest of the world, and into Ireland.

If you can anything over three hours on the airplane always go widebody so you could walk around and stretch your legs! I use wheelchair at all times and I bypass all check-in lines and security lines!
reply

I always prefer widebody planes, the bigger the better, especially on transatlantic routes. Sadly, Widebodies are nowadays very rare on US domestic routes except for NYC to LAX or SFO, maybe a couple others.

About 15 years ago I flew business class from Dublin to Los Angeles, across the aisle was a very large fat guy who fell asleep and snored the whole time making it impossible for anyone else to sleep.

What was the mask situation like on board? I see a few segments without one on board, and some with it worn - any advice? Haven't flown business with aer lingus since pandemic hit.

I'd love to see you review Ireland West airport sometime, from parking your car to being checked in and sipping on a pint in 10-15mins.
