HI jeb I took this flight on a 777 from newark to vienna but it was interesting for me. First the engin broke so were were stuck in this super hot cabin with no air-conditioning for 3 hrs then they had us get off the plane and get are bags but that took 3 and a half hrs. There were no more flights they could put us on but somhow this nice united woker helped us find a flight to paris then to vienna. Are trubbels did not stop there. Are flight left at 9 the next day so we had a day in ny city. When we tryed to check in are bags to are paris flight the mechin would not check them becuase they said the flight was not cancelled and showed we fley even thought we did not. That took and hour but luckily we made it. On this trip We were going to vienna and cypress and on our cypress flight from vienna we got upgraded to buissnes class to that was ok. (Note) Im am a Airplane inthuseist and at the age of 12 have been to over 20 countrys. Thats my expersince with them! Keep up the good work Bye!

Several years ago, I flew Austrian from Florence to Vienna. It was just a 1: 35 flight, yet they served an excellent meal in Euro-Business Class. In the USA, you probably won't even get a second drink on such a short flight. It was amazing how quickly the Austrian FAs passed out the food. They rolled a cart down the aisle, and everybody had their meal in a matter of minutes. By comparison, most USA airlines have the Biz/First FAs running back and forth to the galley with one or two trays at a time. very inefficient. I just flew JFK-DEN on Delta, and it was at least an hour before everybody in Biz got their meal, while the FA probably logged 5, 000 steps. Sometimes it seems like airlines pay no attention to what other airlines are doing, else they would all up their game.

I recently flew Austrian in economy from Vienna to Chicago in the B777. One of the things that I really liked about Austrian is I was just transferring flights at Vienna airport coming from Budapest and Vienna Airport in my opinion is not as busy as other European airports such as Paris or Amsterdam so its much quicker and easier to navigate. In economy I thought the food options couldve been better. Although the food was good we werent given any choice and I wouldve preferred something with more protein than what was offered. Its possible that this is not the normal food offerings due to staff shortages or something. I also agree that the IFE couldve been more impressive. Although it was sufficient if I flew Austrian regularly I would probably want more options.

I flew Business on Austrian Last year from Chicago OHare directly to Vienna. They switched planes on us and gave us an older and tired looking plane on the inside. It looked like it was stuck in 1985. The flight attendants were mostly cool with the exception of one who hounded other passengers to put their mask(s) back on while they were eating (yes, odd. It was like a game of tag with her, haha. The beer was great, the food was average. Ill be flying Lufthansa next time. Theyre almost always on-point and the planes more modern.

As an Austrian i had to smile as you ordered the Kleiner oder Grosser Brauner: ) I know you couldnt know, but Kleiner oder Grosser means big or small, so you can order either a kleiner Brauner (small) or a grosser Brauner (big) In fact it is coffee with milk and with milk foam, it can be compared with cappucino (even if some austrians would crucify me for this statement)
anyways thank you for visiting vienna and for using our airline. Its small, but we are proud of it.

Why probably all the flights from America to Europe are night flights? You can see on Radarbox site during these hours most aircrafts over the Atlantic have one direction from West to East. If you see a few ones flying the opposite direction they are probably cargo flights.

1: 42 Everybody and their mother compares some other burger to In-N-Out. I'd say that this routine comparison bodes well for the 'In-N-Out is the best burger around' argument. Why else would so many feel it necessary to compare? Great video again, Jeb!

Hey Jeb! I just booked the same flight today for July. I was wondering if you had to go through security again when you took the shuttle from Terminal C to terminal B? I would love to check out the polaris lounge.

So, the coffee. Oh, Jeb. Which one? You didn't order Die Grosser oder die kleiner. It's not a single item. Which one? The large or the small? Looks like you got the Grosser

Terminal C was a regular spot for me going to Portland, ME. Did spend a lot longer than desired though (10 hours) due to delays and mechanical issues on my last transfer.

All credit to United in providing a decent business class lounge instead of the more usual banalities offered by many other airlines, particularly in the U. S.

The Polaris lounge in Newark is awesome. I visited it back in February 2020. Its amazing. I regret not trying a cocktail with the airplane swizzle stick.

Who tucks into a salmon dish and kind of marvels that it wasn't too fishy. What salmon has ever been thought of as tasting fishy, and not like, well, salmon.

Austrian is also unmatched in economy.
The service is incredible, no matter what class you book there.
