I dont like the seats in business. The ones close to the bulkhead are too tight and you cannot reach the aisle without waking up the person with the aisle seatthe better seat is the one YOU got, is called The Throne and is unique. The other better seats are the one in the middle since each passenger has access to either aisleYou forgot to mention and you didnt mention the seat width that is very narrow and you dont know what to do with your arms

As airplanes get more longer legs on 'em the shorter the take off time, right? : ) Thanks Jeb and Suzanne for your wonderful 'take' on Delta's A350 business class ride through the sky over the Earth on most days/nights depending on ones schedule. I have yet to experience the A350; looks like a very nice aircraft. (IF the 747 could fly on two engines, for better efficiency, they'd probably still be flying everywhere & anywhere. )

As someone from Johannesburg that now lives in the US and has done this flight many, many times between the two I really enjoyed this video! Thank you! Love all your videos and super cool watching one I can relate to!
Always knew it was a long flight, blows my mind its the 13th longest in the world! Still. long flight or not the ability to fly direct was a game changer! Haha

Delta has never had well priced flights to the US out of JHB. Haven't tried looking at their new CPT route that much. Have the prices improved relative to connecting at LHR/AMS/FRA? Would much rather fly direct to the US than via Europe but international transfers in Europe are usually much more pleasant than domestic connections in the US.

Speaking of segways, a couple years ago my parents went through the hell of the Atlanta shutdown. They had to walk many of the escalators completely unpowered, in the dark, and with all their luggage. Made me really respect the Plane Trains and Escalators a lot more!
P. S. loved the video!

Escalator is at the end of E concourse. It leads to the tunnel to F concourse. Its so peaceful in that tunnel. I wish they had chairs along the wall. On the other side of the stained glass wall is the secured walkway passengers arriving on international flights use to get to F customs.

My wife and I are on this flight right now! It looks like you had a much better experience - our fasten seatbelt sign has been on the ENTIRE flight and the attendants have been quite rude to the passengers. It seems ironic that the worst flights I have with them are out of ATL.

You should do IAD to CPH on SAS, the longest narrowbody flight in the world, It would make a good addition to worlds longest flight segments but it probably wont be longest narrow body flight foe too much longer because of a321xlr introduction

Just got back from JoBurg a week or so ago! inflight experience was definitely not as good as this one. Going to Johannesburg on DL200 was not a problem at all. it was our DL201 flight coming back. still the best airline in the U. S. by far!

Jebb, have you ever suffered a single day of deprevation in your life? You really are so glib, so utterly irritating, so infuriatingly self satisfied, but I will continue to watch in order to get a glimpse of the wonderous Susanne.

I think that short escalator is going up from plane train to Terminal F? I think there's another short one going from T gates down to plane trains but I don't think that's this one.

I would like to suggest the flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Riyhad (RUH) via Jeddah (JED) on Saudia Airlines. I think that it would be a very interesting video to watch.

Hi Jeb - after comments about jetlag on a recent video, it was interesting to see (at 7: 24 ) that you'd presumably set your watch to destination time! I do that as well!

5: 59 I hope you had a Sprite on the flight LOL. How do you like the crown on the other side? I like it because it doesnt dig into my wrist like the normal watches can.

I 100% agree with Jeb that the A350 is the most beautiful and sleek aircraft flying today- Moreso than the 787
Especially in a Eurowhite livery, like Delta uses

Personally, I would suggest that you try out qantas A380's longest route. I don't know which one it is, but it was cool if you would give it a try.

Why does Delta require so many points to book flights! Its insane compared to other airlines and their first class is poor to say the least.

When departing ATL on an international flight, we always head to One Flew South and skip the food in the Delta lounge.

Amazingly, my flight from Doha to Dallas on Qatar Air was 16. 5 hours. I guess yours was the longest US carrier.
