We live in Kenya and our son works for United so we fly through Frankfurt a lot, just got back to Kenya from DEN - FRA - NBO. We usually take LH from NBO - FRA, then hop on a United flight to the US. Thanks to our United Club Chase Card, we get access to the Lufthansa Lounges and I agree they are the best. I agree with you those lay over showers are the best. On my travel flog videos I always show the best part of the lounge, their amazing smooth scrambled eggs. Thanks Jeb and Susan, love all your videos. Maybe we'll bump into you in a lounge or gate sometime.

#Team747, Jeb, I have a few Questions for you guys. Where do you and Sue live when you guys are not Flying around. also, if a passenger, who is a bit on the large size (XXL+, do they have PJs in the larger sizes? I have another one but I cannot remember what it is (At 70 the mind is sharp but the short-term Memory is having a problem, LOL) I remember what I wanted to ask you guys after looking at the video again. Are the Bose headsets yours to take after the flight?

I flew for a Delta regional carrier for 12 years so I had flight benefits on SkyGod Air Lines and one of my most memorable trips I took was lower level front row first class on the 747 from Atlanta to Honolulu in 2009 soon after the DL/NWA merger. Coming back I was set to ride the cockpit jumpseat but ended up on flight attendant jumpseat next to the main door instead. It was quite the experience!

Yep! I got bumped to 1st class on Air China. Had a business class ticket from San Francisco to Shanghai and there was some sort of glitch. Bumped me to 1st and same thing happened on return. No, I didn't complain. I was seated right there in the front window. What a show until we were over the Pacific. Then, not so much. Perfect service. I was treated like a Hollywood mogul. Ahh! Great memories.

all that i don't like of the 747 is when flying over the Sahara desert in this Lufthansa plane is the bad turbulence, ive flown this route from Jan Smuts to Frankfurt a few times, the plane falls so bad at times, and shakes badly, my last flight on 747 was 2018 since then i only fly Swiss air to Germany via Zurich and Lufthansa is much more expensive than Swiss air,

In my experience Non U. S. airlines are far less likely to us the fasten seatbelt sign as a way to control the passengers. All too often US cabin crew leave the light on far too long where as European airlines get then off as quickly as they can, essentially to give a better service. US flight crews only care about themselves. For most passengers are an inconvenience.

I travel a lot for work, but I go business class. I never remove my seatbelt unless, of course, you need to use the washroom. You can all of a sudden hit turbulence and I've seen people get knocked around and one of the flight attendants told me that it was so bad on one of her flights, that a man bounced up out of his seat and smacked his head on the overhead bin.

Yes, I would like to see a lot more information about the cost, and who is paying for these trips. I have watched many of your train videos, and never a mention about how much it cost, most cost effective times to travel etc. I think full disclosure should be evident at the beginning of each video.

Jeb another great vid as always. now quick Quiz. Why is the A340 not a popular plane amongst airlines it seems anywhere. Is it the 4 Engines fuel consumption factor or a power Thrust on long distance flights. Now what team I am on, any team if I don't have to pay. For my flight.

Hello, I have a question that if someone could answer in the comments I would be very grateful. Basically the question is how can I choose an aircraft to fly with, for example if I want to fly in a Boeing 777 is there any way to choose this specific aircraft model?

Why would I want to feel at a home coach? it's just few hours. I think it just throwing money away, I'd give it to someone needs it and travel economy or premium economy to avoid over crowded seating, feels much better.

Why is it that the most expensive seats/class on an aircraft are the most dangerous seats during a plane crash we all know at this point the rear of the plane is the safest and the front is the most dangerous

4, 200 for that long of a flight in first class seams very cheap. I wonder why it was so much less to fly further then from just frankfurt to chicago? Why do airlines do that? Whats the logic?

Perhaps the most hilarious part of watching this Videos, is the fact, that we are supporting them to live the life of Riley, while we have to stay home. now that is craziness on steroids.

The video was nice! Would like to see pricing from basic to first class. The servings of food, was it the camera, or were they quite small? I would have been starving the entire flight!

I flew long distance business class on both Airbus and 747 and the Airbus was superior. The 747 I was on rattled like crazy and the landing was a controlled crash. Team Airbus!

A long time ago I used to fly SYD-SFO and back on Qantas in seat 1A. There's definitely something special about being the first person to your destination.

I love flying on the 350 or the 380 but the 747 brings back so many amazing memories. I may be the minority but I also loved the venerable old DC-10.

I don't know how anyone can eat that much on a plane. it's one of the worst things you can do if you want to avoid discomfort.

Definitely 747. However, the will not last forever so I may become a 350 guy. After 747 and 777 are long gone.
