BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION at Patpong Night Market - Bangkok peko: 04: 25 in and I'm laughing my head off at you guys. LOL, I feel you. I say something similar when I think a tourist spot is charging much more than my travel budget for the day, except I say, I can eat this much ramen bowls with that. I don't think less of you guys for not going in the Grand Palace ($28 -gasps-, just being practical.
That coconut ice cream with real coconut slices underneath makes me want to travel to Bangkok. Never been. I really like the time lapse the you guys do. Belated, belated Happy B-day!

I know the real reason you guys went to Patpong? When I was there I did try the infamous table tennis side of things out of curiosity. It was the most intimidating experience I ever had. I was only in Bangkok one night before flying home. Did a Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand trip. You Guys need to visit Ho Chi MInh City and Phnom Penh next time you go to SE Asia. Especialy for the Killing Fields as it does really get you emotional and I even fainted when I was there which was not a good experience.

You guys should have gone to Wat Pho which is more relaxed and not so pricey and you can actually have a nice stroll around without the crazy crowds. It also very cheap to get in, like 100 baht or something and if you arent properly dressed, to go inside the temple rooms, they give you a gown to put on.

Scams in Thailand - classic. The temple is closed, renovated, doesn't open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or pretty much any day of the week. I know that they want tourists to go someplace else with them - but if they don't then people miss this beautiful palace/temple that Thai people should be proud of.

Speaker: -Do not trust anyone who tries to delay your trip-
Shady people tell Kara and Nate that it doesn't open until 4, even though the last entry was 3: 30
I think those are the people that the speaker was trying to warn you about! love watching your videos! you just roll with the flow!

Did you guys go to JJ (Chatuchak) Market? It's a giant place that sells EVERYTHING and super cheap. Alot of the Patpong sellers buy wholesale fron JJ; ) Patpong is quite 'cheap' for a foreigner but imagine buying the same thing even cheaper (up to 70%) at JJ. Look it up in Tripadvisor; )

I lived in Thailand for 9 years and spoke pretty good Thai, they will smile at you and say bad things thinking you don't understand. This is just a very small percentage. 99. 9% are warm, loving and genuine. One of my favorite things was to out the shit talkers.

I do enjoy your vlogs but have a hard time justifying not going into main paid attractions. It's like going to NYC and not going on Statue of Liberty, Paris without Eiffel Tower and Rome without Vatican museum. Those attractions make those travels complete.
