Started watching your hiking videos and love them. It's kind of like an Anthony Bourdain exploration of the world through hiking. Would you consider hiking Taiwan? My husband and I hiked a small section in 2012 and it was beautiful. Taiwan has the highest density of high mountains in the world and fantastic gorges.

You even had an Octopus card, WOW! I thought you might have seen some wild boars as well. You 2 have traveled where I never ever have been all my life here. Heard about how pretty and stunning the scenes are but never have anything to ignite me to visit. It's a shame indeed.

What is it about viewing gorgeous scenery and only the sound of mens footsteps? somehow I find it sounds right together. My wife thinks I am nuts, she does not even notice them. lol. Oh well. maybe its just me.

Oh, how I miss Hong Kong, my second home! Next time I am able to come back to HK, I will def hike the MacLehose trail (unless I happen to visit in summer, that'll be a bit too hot and humid for me then hahah)

I summit Sharp Peak when it was 100 degrees F and so humid. Almost died of heat exhaustion but so worth it! Watched them rescue someone with a chopper off a neighboring peak haha.

Such a dangerous trail! My friend did this exact route and got eaten by a panda bear. I told him to stay away from a bamboo tent
