After getting inspired by your videos, I did my first 2 day hike and yes it was sunny as hell, and dry. I used chapstick, light uv cream, wear my cap and sun protect neck gators like a balaclava, and yes it was the correct answer! Thanks for your video as it has a worthy wisdom for a novice like me. I've been watching you since 2018, and very happy to tell you that your contents gives me inspirations and take action.

Really enjoy your videos, both from the perspective of the scenery and also the inspiration and information. Dont know if youve ever consider doing the Highline Trail here in Utah but I think you would find a phenomenal and it could be done during this pandemic. Its in the high Uintas. theres a movie called the Highline Trail if youre interested. Thanks again, youre great!

Personally, I do not wear a cap in sunlight but a waterproof hunting khaki hat, because it protects cheeks and facial parts from sun that ordinary caps usually don't. :)
I learned my lesson during summer when I burned my cheekbones and chin, the rest of the face was pale.

I make sure I go for the Trail running shoes as opposed to just running shoes. The former has traction on the bottom and the toe box is more rigid. The latter, which has a soft fabric toe box -- I fractured and dislocated my great toe.

I really enjoy your videos. I'm an avid hiker here myself, and someone may have mentioned this already, but have you tried ALTRA trail running shoes? They are fantastic for longer hikes if you ever get the opportunity.

I loved every bit of it. Why bother how one looks as long as the clothing solution serves the purpose. I have started hiking recently and plan to build up so that I can visit the places you showed.
