The Saint Catherine Monastery in Sinai - Egypt, and early morning on the top of the Mount Sinai. Recorded in April 2007 in HD with Canon HV20. Heather stubbs: I may be totally blind, yes no sight at all, but when I hear this music, I see for some reason lights flashing with each note of that synthesizer. Then, there are the brighter flashing lights. Then, there's the fire and smoke coming down from Mt. Sinai, and then that thunder. It is amazing how Klaus uses the synthesizer and those muted background vocals to paint the picture in my mind. Truly This is the mountain where God walked on Earth. By the way, have you ever seen the video named Where God Walked on Earth? (It was the first video I ever heard about St. Catherine's Monastery, and there's no doubt that God truly inspired those monks to build there) It is such an inspiration to see how the monks and Bedouins practically living together.

PSAVA74 GO NOW I went up last night this morning - and the lull in tourism since the events in Egypt meant that instead of over 100 ppl at the top waiting for sunrise, there was our single tour group of 6, complete silence, very awe inspiring. and a peaceful trek up and down the mountain. The time is definitely now to visit the Red Sea, I live out here, and I am a British national, and everything is peaceful and happy in the South Sinai.

Yea. I'm Catholic and I don't believe this is where God spoke to Moses I agree it's the place which the Saudi Arabian want no one to visit There's actual proof of an alter for animal sacrifice with markers which Moses had placed there himself. It's near mount of the Rock of Horeb where streams of water gushed forth from to keep the Hebrew people of God from dying of thirst A TRUE MIRACLE

Apparantly Muhammad once stayed with the monks in the monastery. He had a lot of respect for Christianity. Inside the monastery there is a written covenant he gave to the monks to protect them from any injustice. There is also a mosque in the grounds of the monastery and, in times of danger, the local Bedouins have protected the monks.

which means in Hebrew Thank you. Thank you for this beautiful Video. I was there in 1979 after finishing Highschool in Israel. One of those places you never forget. A clever Arab makes his money there repairing flat tires. Every car arriving the place has at least one flat tire. :)

Why is the monastery permitted to exist(I edited my comment, in the spirit of Fr. Benedict Groeschel, which is the infusedSpirit of Christ. As I seek a closer walk with Our Lord, I must remove any and alluncharitable comments that I have made. Ora pro me)16. 12. 16 a. D.

YamaKazoo Yes it is a letter stating that the christians be free to worship whoever and not to be harmed. unlike what the lying zionist make him out to be. A proof that he never ordered the killing of nne beleivers

Just because it's a mountain. Doesn't mean it's the real mountain of God. The real Sinai is more likely the one in northwest Saudi Arabia. There's too Jewish evidence around that mountain.
