I stood in the LOW places with you and wept, awestricken by the HIGH places, hiding my tears behind my camera as I filmed these same scenes from these SAME places, and turned my face and wiped my tears on the back of my hand. But in the end, I was with you, and the memories shared has made all the difference. 1: 23, we stood behind the clay colored stone wall and watched the Snake curving through the valley with the peak that French explorers dubbed The Grande Teat (Teton) in the background. 1: 42, the ever present Skillet? Glacier atop Mt Moran, viewable from many vantages. We stood at the shore landing at Signal Mt. 2: 14, from Leeks, or Colter Bay Marina. 3: 42, My 1st view; through the pines, and the 1st lump in my throat when I walked out of the Signal Mt dorm room with whistle pigs barking at me and several mule deer w/ rocking chair crowns paying me no mind at all, the morning after we rode in on the seemingly treacherous mt road in the dark. 5: 33, The cross of the maker on the chapel with his creation in the background.

What's causing all the boxiness/compression artifacts? I would guess it was simply the codec (h264 I'm assuming) but I haven't found this to be common, especially because the artifacts are very variable and it doesn't seem dependent on the kind of image that's playing itself. It would be amazing if you could upload and provide a direct download link to an uncompressed sample, or at least encoded with HEVC (h265) using the same bitrate as the video here.

This video is just a small portion of what is to be seen in Grand Teton. Having lived in the area, I must say that one should visit this area for several days, because there is just so much beauty to seen. Go on to Yellowstone and plan on spending several days there also. The numerous times that I have been to both, I have always see something new and different.

I remember teaching my nephews all the things Uncles r supposed to teach them. Like The Grand Tetons, in French means the Big Tits. Also, that their is a lake called Titicaca. How to remove the child safety crap on lighters, etc. My sister raised them alone, and that is their RIGHT In retrospect the way to remove lighters safety stuff may have been a bit misguided.

So your video is from right after Labor Day, or early Sept? Also, one note might be that you could add locations for each of your shots into the video. even for just a second, so that people who want to visit know where to go to see what you shot. Just an idea. Great video. Sub.

The magnificent Tetons Mountains as I imagined them as a child. I like when you hold a shot, and the viewer has to look for a ripple in the water or leaf gently moving, to see that it is in fact a video were looking at. I guess that comes with having that new tripodGreat work M

Just a month ago with the family we spent 5 unforgettable days camping in the Grand Teton. We took hundreds of pictures, but your video in combination with the music brings so much great memories and shows the world this tremendous beauty. Thanks for your great job

This video highlights some of my favorite spots while I was there. There's nothing like going around that area and always having those majestic mountains somewhere in sight. Side note, wish the music was a bit more calming and thoughtful but not bad.
