The Enchantments are such a special place. The lower lake is called Colchuck. It's a man made lake and is stocked with Eastern speckled trout. How did you like Aasgard Pass? Is the glacier still at the top of Asgard Pass? It has been many years since my last visit. You did a great job filming this region. I hope you stopped off in Leavenworth for a beer and good German food.

Visually this is the best video on the Enchantments that I have seen. We just did it as a one day thru hike and it was absolutely amazing. If you get bored check out the video we made about our hike. It's very amateur but fun.

Second time, almost made me cry. that area is so ingrained in the soul of those of us who live here. this hike was responsible for my moving away from the big city and be in nature.

Thanks for the great video. I first went there in 1974, and went back a few more times. Now I am crippled so this is my only way to experience this fantastic area.

Is it a 18mile hike in? Anyway to ride a bike or to get to the lake faster i have people I'd like to take there but 18 mile hike is alot for them

I've hike this at least 7 times, but now it has become so busy, hard to get a permit, and age limits one. thanks for some excellent perspectives.
