Classic Music For All
1. In the past, any unauthorized person stepping into forbidden will be beheaded 2. There are 9, 999 rooms in forbidden city, reason being god in the heaven has 10, 000 rooms and the emperor needs to have 1 room less than the god. If you're to sleep in one room per night, it will take you 27 years to finish sleeping in all the rooms. 3. No tree in forbidden city, because emperor wanted to see all his government officials from his seat and for security reason, worried that assassin may be hiding in the tree.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful clip of my favorite place on earth. I grow up in Beijing, China and visited Forbidden City-Gu Gong many times. I am dance choreographer and now I am very excited to create a dance concert based on The Forbidden City, and would like to share your video to our audiences. Would you please give us a permission to do so and let us know the videographer's name so we can credit you in our program? Many thanks.

I must say that is some incredibly blue sky which Beijing is not synonymous with. most of the time, Beijing = heavy air pollution. You're lucky. Beijing would be one of the great places to go without the pollution, with so much history in it. Have you not seen the moat that surrounds the palace? Didn't see in your video here.

China really needs to appreciate historical culture and spend more money to preserve it. I see graffiti in some of the places and very poor patch jobs on the repairs.
